When making a cannon character specifically a pet, am I allowed to change up their personality, gender, appearance or what? How far are the limits when making a cannon character for changing up details?

So if you've already claimed a canon character, you don't have to remake it, seeing as the books/movies have already shown the character.
If you're making an OC, you're free to do whatever you wish.

Okay, so, when with a cannon character we don't need to create profiles for them?

Nope! If people don't recognize any canon characters, they can just look them up.

Are creature inheritances allowed in this group? For example, characters would have a more creature side like Veelas and Vampires. They'd also have a mate or soulmate that they would have to find after they gained their creature inheritance. In Harry Potter, Fleur is half Veela.

Yes. That is allowed. However the Creation for those is a WIP.

Okay, so- Feel free to make your own homes for your characters. Right now we are only Roleplaying in random places outside of Hogwarts until I say in Announcements for first years to get their letters and the day everyone goes to Kings Cross.

That'll be when the group is more advanced and has more Roleplaying Topics

Oh, no need to create any topics. It is not necessary.
Also, Hogwarts will be open once all the dorms are complete and we have a few more corridors, staff, and students made and claimed!

i am new to this, i dont know about roleplay's.

Okay, so Roleplays are things where you basically play as your dream character.
Have you ever wanted, let's say, to be apart of a fandom like.. Let's just use Warrior Cats. In some Roleplays, you get to create your very own character, also known as an OC. Or, you could play as an original character, once again, using Warriors, you could say: I'm gonna play as Scourge! So, you would get to Roleplay as that character.

An example of a descriptive Roleplay message, I'll go ahead and use Glory and Tsunami from Wings of Fire..:

"Are you kidding? You're out of your mind!" Glory snapped at the SeaWing Princess, spreading her wings and revealing her fangs. "Oh, you're one to talk, death-spit RainWing!" Tsunami roared back at Glory with ferocity.

So, basically that's an example of RolePlay.

Also, I recommend joining non-advanced groups. This group is pretty advanced and most recommended for experienced roleplayers, not beginners.

Yes, of course! You're allowed to make as many oc's as you wish! We just need more teachers. Maybe 1 or 2 more? But, yes, you are free to make more than 1 character!

There is a Hogwarts Staff Role Topic in I think the Roleplay Related Folder. There are some roles you can claim there if you wish.

Can I age down my characters? The roleplay isn't too deep into it where they're age rlly matters yet.

Alright, so, one thing is you put Riley down as a Gryffindor student when he isn't, and then for Toby in one area you have 'F' for his gender, and in another area you have 'C.M' for his gender and I'm really confused about it.

Ah, sorry, I got characters mixed up one day and haven’t had the chance to fix that. It’s saying I need to fix it.

Am I allowed to have a gender fluid character who stays in which ever dorms who has less people since they are aromantic/asexual?

Uhh... I would have to say for that, they'd stay in whatever dorm their gender at birth is.
