Once Upon A Time: The Roleplay discussion

Amber had just been in a fight with her boss, so she was blowing off steam by hiking in the mountains. She was going on her normal trail, by the rocks. She had been trying to reach the top of the mountain for weeks.

Amber turned the corner and it revealed a large mass of rocks. She walked up to the rocks and sat on her favorite one. She looked out at the view and watched as birds flew tree to tree.

She stood and jumped off the rock. She stumbles backwards a bit and lets out a yelp as she falls, twisting her ankle.

She didn't notice Ralph as she was holding her ankle, trying not to let the tears in her eyes fall.

She let out a small scream when she saw the figure in the hood. "Oh, um, hello. I'm sorry, you scared me."

She paused for a moment before realizing his name was Ralph and he was speaking in third person. "Oh, um, it's okay. I should've been more careful." She went to get up, but her ankle hurt too much so she sat back down.

She hesitates a bit and takes his hand. "Thank you, Ralph. I'm quite familiar with these mountains."

She finds her balance and shifts her weight onto the unhurt foot, "I live in Storybrooke."

She nods, as understood as most people didn't know understand where Storybrooke was. "It's a small town. Maybe about 5 miles East from here."

She began limping home, with his help. "Thanks Ralph."

"Can I ask you something, Ralph?" She asked as they continued their trek.

"Why do you speak in third-person?"

"Well, just now for example, instead of saying I do not understand what you mean, you said Ralph does not understand what you mean ."

Her brows furrowed, "Can you, um, pardon if this is rude, but can you read, Ralph?"

She nods, getting the answer to her question. She almost instantly comes up with another question. She asks, "If I may, why do you wear the cloak?"

((Hey btw Emory and Jacob are frozen in conversation in the hall))

Her brows furrowed, "From what?"

"What's wrong with people?"

"What's to be afraid of?" She asked, more curious than ever.

"But what's wrong with telling someone like me? I'm an outcast in my town and no one would believe anything I would ever say."

"Does it hurt you?"

"Why would someone hurt you though? Because they're afraid?"

She frowns, "As long as I can help, I won't let someone take you away, okay?"

Ralph continued to walk "Ralph dosnt need help. He has hiding spots and a home"

"Where?" She asked, "Hidden in the mountains?" She shook her head as they continued their walk.

Ralphs eyes widened a bit "Ah Ralph dosnt have a home he lives randomly everywhere" He lied

Ambers frown deepened, "You're homeless?"

"Ralph says yes. no. yes" He stumbled with his words

"Are you homeless, Ralph?" She asked, wanting the truth.

"Ralph does not want to answer that" He replied

She stops, "You are! How could you stand to live like that when there is a town a couple miles away?"

"Ralph doesn't like people and people dont like Ralph" Ralph replied to her question

She sighs in frustration, "Why though?"

((What's gonna be their ultimate relationship bc I'm kinda confused on that))

((Wait they were going to have a relationship? I dont remember that))

"Ralph dosnt want to say" Ralph went back to walking

((Not like a romantic one just like friendship/enemy/etc I mean it could be but idk))

She doesn't reply as she was deep in her thoughts. She began walking again.

((Oooh ok. I just realized I misread your comment. They can be acquaintances until she sees ralphs face. Also I have an idea. Its just an idea so you dont have to do it but what if once ralph drops off Amber near Storybrooke maybe instead of heading to her home she follows him to his home?))

Ralph continued until the town was in sight "This is as far as Ralph goes"

She nods, "Thank you Ralph." She begins to walk over to the town, but as she got just out of sight she hid behind a tree.

Ralph turned around and headed to his home. He thought it was to dangerous to be outside now.

Amber quietly followed Ralph. She tiptoed tree to tree, rock to rock.

Ralph along the way collected berries

Amber continued to follow him, nearly tripping on a stick once.

Ralph ignored the small sound thinking it was an animal. He then arrived at his house.

She hid behind the largest rock nearest to his house. I knew it! He isn't homeless. she thought.
