Hello everyone, I'm new to the group. Thanks for having me. I'm a longtime fan of horror novels and movies, though I tend toward stories with strong character development, solid plot lines and a concrete sense of place and time. Like most, Stephen King started me on my journey when I was just 13. I'm now 51 and I have read all of his books (with the exception of the Dark Tower series) several times each. Some of my favorite horror novelists other than King are Bentley Little, Jonathan Mayberry, Paul Tremblay and Briane Keene. I have also returned to writing after a long hiatus and just published my first horror novel, A Frightful Harvest. If interested, you can check it out by clicking on the link below. I guess I should also introduce myself here. I'm Kara, but I guess you can see that... lol. I'm a friend of Tristan's and I help with the group here. I'm also a editor of his book Amara. I'm 62, married for almost 45 years and fully disabled.
I enjoy reading immensely and l love working with Tristan on his books. I also hope to one day writing my own book. My favorite genres are horror, fantasy and some sci-fi. That's I guess the main things about me, but feel free to friend me here and ask me anything, I'm a open book..... lol. : )
