So my ideal woman is my height or shorter to about a head shorter. She is not afraid to wear a dress or long skirt with a blouse. Nothing super low cut probably no lower than collar bones. She had long hair, shoulder length to mid back. Can wear heels but doesn't have to. Can wear makeup but doesn't have to. And doesn't mind a purse. then from there you have me and it is all affection and personality from there. Then I would like them extraverted but I would be fine with introverted. Hopefully they know how to make good food. They have to be interesting to talk to. A Christian with good faith. Not minding physical affection like hugs or cuddling. Would make complements on their own.

Wow. It all sounds like me minus the part about dresses and heels. I would sooner join the army than wear a dress.
(and yet, somehow my friends have convinced me to wear a dress in the past. I have no idea how they managed it)

message 13: by Book - Dragon (new)

Book - Dragon I think I don't really mind how my dream guy looks I'm just partial to dark hair. Eye color doesn't really matter to me. I like guys with a pale complexion because I'm a really really pale person and I look like a ghost next to people with tans. His dress style is comfy and cool. Like black clothes and black leather jackets, but also comfy hoodies and jeans. I'm a casual clothes type of girl. He also is really sweet, funny, caring, and he can stand my constant teasing. He also listens to me when I'm angrily rambling on about something or when I'm talking about a scene in a book in writing. He doesn't get mad when I have mood swings and can't stop crying from sadness or screaming from anger. He also isn't afraid to show how he's feeling. He doesn't just say yes to me all the time, he has some backbone and he isn't afraid to tell me if I'm wrong. He understands me in a way other people don't and he gets that I'm a big hugger and I need someone to hold me sometimes. He also doesn't mind when I drag him to every book store in the city or to the Library several times a week. He asks me how I'm feeling or my opinion on something and he actually cares about what my opinion is it how I feel about something. He also gets that I'm an introvert and I need me time.

Well I bet you would look pretty in a dress. and to be honest I am not expecting her to wear one 24/7 just for her to wear one if she is trying to impress me.

I also definitely agree with Isabelle - male and alive would be ideal, although dead would be more relatable to my own scenario. XD

Okay, so my dream man: outdoorsy and ready for anything, strong in the faith, preferably a charismatic like me so we don't have to fight over tongues and stuff, willing to stand with me, and not afraid of physical touch and cuddling. Also he'd need to appreciate books and writing, and he'd preferably know a lot about LotR...

Lol see therein lies the problem - I'm too independent to want to try to impress someone. XD

Also Kaylee did a much better job of summing up my dream guy than I did...

This is (quite) off topic, but I've noticed that I get treated a bit differently when I wear dresses. I guess it gives off a very feminine appearance, so I get traditional feminine treatment.

message 18: by Book - Dragon (new)

Book - Dragon I only wear dresses for Church and if it's a special occasion. Otherwise I wear my trusty jeans. I don't like skirts so much. They just make me uncomfortable.

you wouldn't do anything nice for your man? Maybe look pretty for a date or something?

message 21: by Isabelle (new)

Isabelle | 964 comments Alright. This poor boy would have to suffer the fear of being whapped upside the head at any given moment. As I have stated before, I've got a bit of a thing for dark hair and blue eyes, but that's definitely not a standard, just a preference. I'm sure the preference would change if I was actually interested. I'd personally appreciate a more formal sense of fashion, as I tend to lean that way. It would be great if he were realistic and helpful. This is going to sound quite selfish, but he would meet most of my expectations if he simply preferred me over my twin sister from the beginning. Although, that's not very realistic because she's quite a bit more outgoing and just more pleasant-looking. Anyways, if he'd genuinely listen to me that would definitely be something. I don't usually express most of my feelings, so he'd be lucky. I've got quite a few siblings and other family with lots of drama at this point in life, so someone who cherished me and had me as his top priority would be nice. A guy who enjoyed long conversations about controversial things, and would actually set pride aside and look at both sides. Clever and genuinely intelligent. Lol someone who could handle us getting close in the beginning of the relationship and then having me disappear (just pull back a decent amount) for a few months because I'm trying not to throw myself off the face of the earth for telling someone new literally anything about myself. 😂

Lol well when you put it THAT way...
I mean, I think it really comes down to this: If he respects me and clearly finds me beautiful in all my mountain girl jeans and t-shirt joy, then I would probably, out of respect for him, wear something a little nicer. I'd be willing to wear a dress that hits just below the knees. But full-length dresses? Nuh-uh. Not in a million years.

message 25: by Fortissimo (new)

Fortissimo (kendra_simps) I think brown eyes with light brown hair. NO GEL! Soft and natural is way more attractive. And I want someone who hugs me all the time. Physical touch is what makes me feel loved!☺ Dress wise, something not too dramatic or cowboyish. Just casual and clean.

I think it shows he puts quite some effort in. Also, stiff and uninviting is how I am when I meet someone in real life, so it would fit perfectly lol

ok what Gel styles are Hot to people?

I don't use Gel because I don't know what to do with my hair other than comb it to the side.

See, and that's the main reason I don't wear dresses in the first place. If I can't comfortably run, fight, and otherwise get dirty in what I'm wearing, I'm not wearing it! XD

message 37: by Fortissimo (new)

Fortissimo (kendra_simps) @Austin, good, leave it how it is. How do you generally style it normally?

Okay, so personally, I don't like gel. To me it literally just looks like the guy didn't shower unless it's done right, and still, I'm not the biggest fan of it. I think it springs from my being a total country gal and so gel has a city kinda feel to it that's a real turn-off to me, but I'm also about the weirdest person you'll ever meet soooo... take what I've said with a largish grain of salt. XD

message 39: by Mary-Therese (new)

Mary-Therese P. Strong Catholic faith. Intelligent, quick-witted, funny, able to deal with my intensity and obsessions. affectionate, (likes hugs, handholding, and cuddling). willing to sing duets with me (this is a must) usually pretty chill, but can get into heated debates, says he loves me a lot (I'm prone to thinking I always like people more then they like me). enjoys watching movies with me preferably with darker hair, 5'8 or taller, would be cool if he wore sweaters.

I generally comb my hair off to my left and try to make sure some parts aren't sticking up. I also like to comb my hair over and around my ears, bangs annoy me. Also I do have a pic on my profile of what I look like if you are that curious haha.

message 42: by Isabelle (new)

Isabelle | 964 comments I think that, done right, it can look very good both with and without gel. Lol of course I know what I think looks good, but I haven't a clue on the strategy all y'all use to get it there.

message 43: by Isabelle (new)

Isabelle | 964 comments Guess I'm the only girl here against lots of hugs and cuddles lol. Well, not against exactly, I'm sure I'd find it cute and endearing if he liked them a lot, but I don't think I would make a point to cuddle.
