I set my goal for 65 this year. I will try more new to be authors and continue to read my favorite series.
I set my goal at 100 books again and maybe I will read more due to the fact I have retired from my part time 2nd job so I will have a little bit of extra time to read or listen on the weekends.
Ive entered so many challenges. That setting goals would be silly for me. I just hope to finish those. Other wise my year challenge is 175. Last year I'd set it at 275 and was constantly being behind by +10 books. Stressed my out! This year I think? Easy peasy. I can always change it
I set my 2022 Reading Challenge to 60, however, I believe I may read more. Another goal I have set is "Finish That Series" I have 10 series that I have not kept up with and plan to complete at least 6 of them this year. This will definitely assist with reaching my goal as I will have to reread some of the books as a refresher.Happy Reading!
I set my reading goal at 160 books. I am going to focus on the group reads and the challenges this year. I also have several series that I want to finish and a couple that I want to start.
I've lowered my goal total in recent years. Just a whole lot of real life going on and less reading time. I'm setting it at 125 this year. I am participating in several challenges and group reads plus I want to knock off some series I've started. And I really want to concentrate on a lot more new-to-me authors and debut authors. I'm doing that a lot with so many arcs...I'm receiving more & more newbies through publishers and I must say...the future of reading looks to be outstanding. I am loving some of the new authors I've read.
I'm starting out with a goal of 250. I've done this in the last couple years but ended up raising it (I average 30+ books a month, thanks to retirement [love it], a mix of ebook and audiobooks, and umpteen challenges that need completing [can you say 'challenge addict'?!].
I set my goal to 700. It's the same goal I set as last year. I was able to complete 762 last year. I listen to audiobooks while at work and I listen to them at 2x the normal speed so I go through a lot of books.
15 books at the minimum, and I'm going to finish one of them tomorrow. But my big goal is to work through a backlog that I have with my Kindle pile.
With two months remaining in 2022, the time remaining to meet your yearly reading goals is dwindling. How's it going? Have you met your 2022 Reading Goal? Will you by year's end?

I was just thinking about this. I am very sad that I will not meet my goal of 100 books. I am at 70 books so I will most likely on reach 75 to 80. It has been a very emotional year for me and my family. Losing 2 immediate family members within 2 days. Do you leave your goal as is or change it??
I am absolutely killing it on the number of Series I had planned to finish. My Goal was 7 and so far I've completed 15! patting myself on the back
