I just finished this quirky, quarky book
I really enjoyed it but am confused about the ending. I don't want to spoil the book for anyone. I really enjoyed it but am unclear as to the ending. Does Ursa sail off into the sunset ? with new foster parents or does she get to stay with Jo and Tabby? I'd like to know if those last 2 chapters elicited tears of joy or frustration. Thank you!

She stays with Jo and Tabby. The story was hard for me to get into at first but my librarian picked this for our book club and told me to hang in there it will get better. By the middle of the book I couldn't put it down! I really enjoyed the story.
Sounds like Ursa stays with Jo and Tabby. I really enjoyed this book. Ursa had me questioning if she was an alien at one point.
