Yes to what Jackie said. That's why near the title I said it was a stretch. I happen to own the Diary of Ellen Rimbaur and really liked the movie when it first came out.

Hi ladies I'm starting February's book because I've read January before. I borrowed it from my library and was surprised they had it:)

This was definitely a case of "I thought I replied but it was only in my head" lol sorry. But absolutely! I do that from time to time, especially if it's one that I just read. Let us know what you think! I'm updating for February right now.

If you have been with Ashley and I over the many years this group has been up then you have likely read 'The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon'. We have chosen this book again, because we are still trying to follow Lala from Booksandlala's Buzzwordathon Readathon. The January pick is from the 5 W's: Who, What, Where, When, Why and How.
I found this book to be an excellent and brilliant survival book with a child as the protagonist. I'm an avid hiker and just thinking about being lost in the forest alone freaks me out. Knowing that this girl could do it... well, it makes me want to learn about edible plants in my area :P
This book is on the "short" side for King books, so it should definitely be a manageable book for January. I start school again this month and I'm still working full time, so a shorter King book is definitely what I need right now.
'You Were Never Really Here' director Lynne Ramsey was set to start production of the movie back in Jan 2021. It is still in "pre-production" so I'm not sure when this movie will start being filmed and when it will be set to release. However, I'm definitely looking forward to watching it.
If you have already read this book and are looking forward to the reread. Let us know down below. What was your favorite part? Try not to spoil anything :P If you haven't read the book before. I can't wait to hear what you think.
Happy Reading everyone and welcome 2022, may it bring better days for us.
