Hi everyone! :) I've conquered Pike's Peak several times in the past, and last year I actually knocked 25 books off the list, so it's time to tackle the next peak.

What a lovely idea!
10. Sisters in Arms by Kaia Alderson (DNF at 16%)11. Pizza, Pincushions and Playing it Straight by Rayne Constantine
Lucky 13!13. The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room, the Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made by Greg Sestero
14. The Women with Silver Wings: The Inspiring True Story of the Women Airforce Service Pilots of World War II by Katherine Sharp Landdeck
18. Four Lost Cities: A Secret History of the Urban Age by Annalee Newitz; decent once started, but very easy to put down in favor of other books.
19. Age of X-Man: The Amazing Nightcrawler by Seanan McGuire3 stars up from 2.5 stars. I love Seanan McGuire, and Nightcrawler is one of my favorite characters in my limited X-Men knowledge, but I had *no* idea what was going on here, which is completely on me.
22. Madam C.J. Walker: The Making of an American Icon by Erica L. BallExcited to read about this fantastic woman, although I found the book itself to be a little repetitive and dense in some places. Still very glad it was written!
Up from 2.5 stars.
23. The Confidence Men by Margalit FoxAlmost there! Very good nonfiction account of WWI British prisoners of war escaping a Turkish prison camp with the help of an oujia board.
CinCO wrote: "Congrats!"Thanks! My book club is doing a TBR derby to benefit the Imagination Library, in addition to monthly challenges, and that definitely got at least 7 books on the list.
28. A Tale of Two Omars: A Memoir of Family, Revolution, and Coming Out During the Arab Spring by Omar Sharif Jr.; DNF at 8%
29. The Troubled Girls of Dragomir Academy by Anne Ursu; predictable answer to the mystery, but very enjoyable and timely.
31. A Sitting in St. James by Rita Williams-GarciaA fantastic book, and one you keep thinking about.
36. Not Good for Maidens by Tori BovalinoAnd I've finished Mt. Vancouver with two months left to go! Will definitely set my goals on this one for next year.
38. The Girls in the Wild Fig Tree: How I Fought to Save Myself, My Sister, and Thousands of Girls Worldwide by Nice Leng'ete
40. Harrow the Ninth by Tamsyn MuirWhat the heck did I just read? Did I put Nona and the short stories on the TBR list? I sure did.
