End of Time ~RP~ (In progress) discussion

Phoenix walked to a spot in the park where they hadn't been in months.

Stacy looked around at the ash empty darkness. It was all burned and crispy, the air choked with ash. "I forgot how bad it is out here."

"Yeah. Headquarters does a pretty good job at making us forget all this is just beyond the walls."

Stacy nodded as she looked around. "Anyway, back to reason why we're here. You think you can help me?"

they nodded, "first challenge. put the fire out." she turned a pile of rocks into fire and stepped back.

Stacy gulped and raised her hands. Don't panic, just breath. She included her fists and willed the ice to come. It burst out in a sheet and doused out the flames.

They smiled, "Good. See, your already doing better than I was."

Stacy grinned a little, but frowned as the ice kept coming. Her hands when numb and she gasped as she tried to reign it back in.

"You good?" They asked

Stacy nodded as she finally shut off the ice.

"Okay. Sit down."

Stacy sat, although she didn't want to.

"Okay. You see those three burnt up trees off in the distance? Hit them all with ice. i had you sit down because its the best for aim."

"Okay." Stacy raised her hands and focused. She snapped her wrist and a shot of ice hit one of the trees. She focused again and the other two were soon frosted over.

"See you're already getting the hang of it. The next part is one of the hardest parts. You need to learn how to disconnect your power from your emotions so they dont feed off of eachother."

Stacy frowned. "How am I supposed to do that?"

"Its different for every person really, but most commonly its all in understanding. The limits of your powers and the depths of your emotions. It sounds really cringy and cliché but it acutually helps a lot."

Stacy blinked. "Uh...what? So I just, understand myself?"

"Its part of it."

"How do I do that?"

"Uhhhh. Good question. My mentor was a lot better at this than I am. He said something about feeling the world around you and finding what it means to you."

Stacy squinted. "Umm...that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Do I just... find inner peace or something?"

"Yeah pretty much. With your past present and future. I remember now. Wally had me doing this weird meditation thing. We can find away around that though if you want."

Stacy was super confused. "I don't see how this is going to snap the connection."

"Okay. Were going to try something else. Name seven things you cant live without."

Stacy thought....and thought....and thought.... "Ummm...I got nothing." She had already lost the things she cared about.

"It can be literally anything. Even ice cream."

"Okay then....ice cream, my powers, rain, music, silence, and the greenhouse."

"One more thing."

Stacy thought harder. "Ummm....snowballs."

"Okay. Now why cant you live without these things?"

"Because.....they all keep me calm and grounded....and make up part of me."

"Okay, your walking down the street before the world was abliderated. Someone walks up to you and asks what your name is how do you respond?"

"Umm..I glare at them and ask why."

"They ignore your question and ask if they can take you on a date."

Stacy growled. "I say no way and walk off."

"They follow you."

Stacy frowned. "Creep" she muttered. "I walk faster and start evasive maneuvers."

"Okay. New scenario you run into a karen while your the only person working and the shops about to close."

Stacy growled. "I give her what for and kick her out of the shop."

"Someone stole your favorite pencil at school."

"I give them a new pair of sneakers...made of blocks of ice."

"Someone else ate the last cookie."

"I bake more for myself and eat them alk in front of said person."

"Getting anywhere with the depth of your emotions?"

"Ummm...I don't know. What does that even mean?"

"Im trying to make you annoyed or mad. Thats where limits are met the fastest. Basically the depth is the verge of the breaking point. If all this is a load of crap just tell me and ill blame it on wally and see if my method works."
