The Mortal Read-Along! discussion

Hey guys! So this read along is about to take effect in two weeks exactly! I'm getting super pumped and I hope you are too!

So, I was thinking maybe if you guys were interested, we could share if this read along is going to be your first time reading the books, a reread, or if you're going to be giving it a second try!

This will be my 7th time reading the series personally. :)

I'm super excited for this read along! It will be my third time reading the entire series all the way through, but my eighth or ninth time reading the first 5 books.

Second time. Wow, Emma! 7 times! Well, it is a fantastic series so I can't blame you? ;)

I just read City of Bones and might have to start city of ashes a little before April but I'm still definitely super excited to be joining in on the live shows and hopefully some of the reading in the correct months!

This will be my first time through the series. I've heard amazing things from everyone who has read it, but I've never picked them up myself. Someone may have spoiled the twist as the end of the first book for me, but we'll see!

I've been putting off reading this series for a while and I'm really excited to read it but everyone has already spoiled me unfortunately

First time. This read along came right on time. I was contemplating reading Cassandra Clare so this is perfect.

This is my first time reading the series ... Thought I watched the movie once, so excited, Iv been so reluctant to read this series, but once Iv heard about this read along I got so excited especially for the live show and discussions ! :)

I've only read the 1st and 2nd book, and I can't wait to reread them and finally finish the series!

It's my first time reading the series. I'm surprised I haven't picked it up earlier! My friends always talk about it and say how much they love it so I am very excited for what's in store.

This is not my first time! I have read the books more than once, because it's my favorite series EVER! I mean, MAGNUS BANE!

I read the first one about a week ago so I'm going to reread the first one but the rest I'm all new too (no spoilers please)

I read the first two at some point last year and I was never able to continue, so this is the perfect opportunity to finish it! :)

i read the first three books in the series a few years ago. I started re-reading the series a few months ago to ensure i remembered everything prior to reading the last 3 books of the series. I am currently re-reading City of Glass. I am very happy to find this group and join in the fun! I might have to put City of Glass away and wait to read it in May along with you guys! Looking forward to it :)

I have read the first three books in swedish last summer but I don´t read the rest of the serie because they weren´t translated to Swedish and I wasn´t good on English. I will reread the first three books and read the three last for first time.

Can't wait for this to get going! The Mortal Instruments is such a good series-- if this is your first time you'll love it!

I've read the first five books about 5 times but City of Heavenly Fire only three times.

I've not read the series before, but I am so excited to get started. I have heard so many good things about the books.

I've only read the first two, so I'm super excited to re-read them and continue with the series!!
