The main character is a girl. I think there’s a love triangle with her, one of the royals, and one of her commoner friends? Not sure though. She has a long lost brother. There is some kind of underground resistance of other commoners born with magic DNA powers or whatever. They are in tunnels at some point. I think her powers are discovered somehow and she is going to be forced to marry a prince, but then he betrays her (possibly in the middle of an arena of some kind)? Something like that. Sorry there isn’t a lot there, I read this when I was probably 13 or younger, it’s just been bugging me.
