Aside from the fact that they were both serial murderers' victims, what terrible detail does the killing of Robert Piest share with that of Steven Hicks?

I literally cannot think of any similarities. I mean, they were both killed in the 70s, both were strangled, and they both look really similar, and were pretty young when they were murdered.

OK, I'm not going to be the old, bad Fishface who let unanswered trivia questions sit so long that I forgot the answers myself. Here you have it:They were both killed on a parent's birthday. Which seems odd and bookendy because Steve Hicks was Dahmer's first victim and Rob Piest was Gacy's last.
