My friends told me about it. And my birthday was coming up,so four of my friends gave me the first four books for my birthday,last year. Now I need Syren and Darke. What about you guys?

I found the first two books at a charity yardsale I was volunteering at. Since I'm a fantasy freak, I bought the first one, and loved it, then went back and got Flyte. :)

I was looking through books at a big library and I saw the cover of Magyk and fell in love with it instantly. :)

I saw it at my library but I couldn't read because we have level ranges. But then I got Magyk at my favorite book store... Barnes & Noble!!!!!!!!!

I was in the bookstore and picked it out for a vacation book. Some airplane rides are just to long.

Yeah I agree with you Eric. I loved the first chapter of it so much that I stayed up all night reading it. Unfortunately I didn't finish it that night.

Woops, I do. (But I usually read the back then look at the cover.)

I do too a lot. Books with very good cover art are often good. And books with Babysitters's Club-esque covers are often badly written. So to some extent, occasionally you can.

I hardly ever judge a book by it's cover,atleast I think.

I try not to, it's just something I do accidentally. But if I see a book with good art, I snatch it. For instance, Legacy by Cayla Kluver. I hardly bothered to look at the back, because the cover had a castle, a book, and a pair of blue eyes - it looked cool. xD

Well, I was in a Barnes & noble bookstore, I was actually looking for another book, (I dont remember the name though)But it wasnt there, so i was a bit dissapointed, and my mom saw the book disscarted on a psychology shelf, and as she read the back cover and thought I would like it...

Im actually really gratefull to the person who left it there!!

That makes me want to start putting my favorite books into random racks all over bookstores.

hmm... I'll be at Borders next Thursday... The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing would go well in the cooking section...
