the queens chambers

the queen chambers are the suite of rooms belonging to the current queen of illea. it holds a large bed, office space with library, bathroom, closet, balcony, and furniture to accommodate the queen's necessities. the chambers is located next to the king's chambers and can't be accessed by anyone but the queen [ or people she allows access to, of course ]. this is also the bedroom that holds former queen america's piano and a painting purchased by former queen abby [ mother of former king clarkson ].

queen kimberly had spent most of her past days in her bedroom where she worked. with the selection's date creeping closer, her levels of stress slowly grew. on top of finalizing details, kimberly and her husband still had government issues to resolve and children to worry about. so kimberly spent most of this week with stacks of documents and spending her down time reading, writing, or playing the piano that had once belonged to a former queen.
