I was always an addict when it came to reading. I would say I really got into reading around like 7, since we had this addicting library at school, it was literally so modern, yet had a dark academia feel to it (obviously I was reading kid books, its just looking back at it now) I ended up moving schools and I stopped reading because I wasn't feeling it anymore. Then, one day I was scrolling on tiktok and I was introduced to booktok, and the one specific book that got me into reading was They both Die at the end; so I really got back into reading around September last year <3
I always hated reading up until last year, I was at my cousin's house and I was looking at her book shelf and picked out a book and then I got addicted to reading :)
I always liked to read but I saw in booktok in December it ends with us and so I orders it. And after that I fell in love with romance books and have read a bunch since!
I always liked reading but never did read up until last summer when my friend convinced me to get wattpad and i fell in love with romance books and then I got into real books
I loved reading in primary school- I read lots until about 5th grade. I just lost interest. Until 2021 Christmas! I saw some booktoks and decided to try reading Shadow and Bone, I've found my love for reading again.
hi! i’m new here 🤗 i got into reading because of booktok, i used to read a lot when i was younger but somehow lost my passion along the way. booktok awakened that side of me again and i suddenly own so many books haha. reading is incredible!
ive always enjoyed reading growing up and had times where i’d read a lot, like the first time i read harry potter and percy jackson. i didn’t get deep into reading till 2020. i started to explore genres i’ve never read before and found much more pleasure in reading and being away from my phone and the rest of the world.
hi i'm new! i started reading my first book for a midterm in my old school after a five year slump. After reading that first book, i wanted to go back to barnes and nobles just for a new book! Eventually i read more throughout 2021 and still love reading til this day☺️
I never liked reading mostly because I was forced at a young age, but during quarantine I wanted to have more hobbies because I realized I was a "boring" person lol so I read Home Body by rupi kaur and fell in love with reading
i used to read a lot in elementary school because of my grandma , but then i stopped in middle school bc i thought it was boring. i started reading again last year since i changed friends and environment and i couldn’t be happier ( i’m in my first year of high school btw )
I of course started reading when I was 5 like most kids. But I got bit by the reading bug around 8. I stopped reading so much around middle school- if memory serves me- because no one else I hung around thought reading was cool. I did the bare minimum reading in high school. College was much the same (and a big reason I flunked out). Around the time I turned 27, I went back to school to get a bachelor’s degree. My amazing fiancé works so I am able to stay home with my children and focus on my studies instead of working full time. I now have the pleasure of sitting down and reading most days. I think I was always working so much and trying to raise babies on my own, just trying to survive that I couldn’t focus if I did have the time to read. I have fallen back in love with books!
i got into reading because of a friend! she used to read in school and it kindaa interested me. i borrowed her books a few times. best decision of my life
