Maybe inter-library loan would have been able to get it for me, but I am unable to make it to the library to request it. Have been "visiting" my libraries by way of the libby app. (I have three library cards) lol
I was able to find it through inter library loan. I was shocked! We have a great app, but I do have to go get it. I can see the building my library is in … our old school. I can pick up easily when the snow has melted enough to get out my back door. 😄 I can use the front door, but would have to walk around the house. Don’t really want to do that in 9 inches. I ordered the Elizabeth George & Ayn Rand books from PaperBackSwap.

Well, I've started it and so far, so good. Interesting time period & place, but I don't think they will be there long.

I hate when that happens! I’m so busy with an annual report for a volunteer job so my reading time is very limited.
Finally made more progress with this. I’ve renewed it for the last time so I have to finish it this month. Need to stop other books from jumping in front of it in my reading schedule. 😄 I liking it very much so far. A pleasant change for an award winner. They usually are not likable.
This is quickly becoming a favorite book! I'm loving the descriptive passages & the moving back & forth in time - very entertaining. I will look for more by this author later on.
I finished this a few days ago & really loved it. Very sad at times. Started to drag a little about 3/4 of the way through, but not bad. I loved the time switches between the old West & early movie days. Overall, I highly recommend it and will look for more by this author.
