David (dassaf4) | 57 comments Great article! I think I've previously mentioned how powerful a story Kindred is. Butler's other novels occupy a significant chunk of my TBR, and it warms my heart to see her resurgence. I was also happy to see Lisa Yaszek quoted in the article. She's a fantastic resource for sci-fi over at Georgia Tech, and author/contributor to several works of her own, such as The Future Is Female! 25 Classic Science Fiction Stories by Women, from Pulp Pioneers to Ursula K. Le Guin: A Library of America Special Publication.
