Ten strangers, each accused of having committed murder in the past, are invited to a private island. Once on the island, each of the ten is murdered in turn, in the manner set out in a nursery rhyme. It becomes clear that the murderer is one of the ten on the island, and tension builds as the guests try to work out who it is before they themselves are killed.

I really loved the suspense and trying to work out who the murderer was, and I did need to read the epilogue where the murderer confesses how he committed the crimes to work out who it was. I have read a few books by Christie before, albeit not many, so I will definitely read a few more in the future.
