I know this is kind of an unpopular opinion, but I think Team John! He genuinely cares about Lara Jean and he is kind. I feel like he wouldn't hurt her the way Peter has.

In the books Peter all the way.
But in the movie thay paint Peter a lot worst, and John as her true soulmate, it was really weird because the two actors seemed to have a really good chemistry and I loved their relationship way more . It felt like they were really happy while working toghether and seemed like a better match.
Anyone else thought it was weird??

John Ambrose. He seemed so kind and caring and honest, like a true gentleman. Peter could be sweet, but whenever he did something thoughtful, it was misunderstood, and he didn't explain until Lara Jean was mad or upset or doubting him, and then he was mad. John Ambrose is my sort of guy <3
