The Literary Guild discussion

This month, the 21st Edition book club picked People of the Book, a complex and moving novel by the Pulizer Prize Winner Geraldine Brooks.

Our group met yesterday to discuss this book. We all enjoyed reading it and loved the way the author wrote. One member read the book twice. Everyone thought that it related to current world problems and everyday relationship struggles between a mother and daughter to some degree. Bottom line: it is a fascinating read and is highly recommended! Several members, will look for books by the author to read on their own.
