Play Book Tag discussion

I put a hold on this book for the February tag but I didn’t manage to read and review it in time for that. Having met Josef Weber at a grief support group, Sage Singer is shocked when he one day asks her to kill him. She is shocked even further when he tells her why he deserves to die. I really enjoyed how this story unfolded, with chapters alternating not only between Sage and Josef’s points of view, but also Sage’s grandmother – a survivor of the Nazi concentration camps – and Leo – a detective who hunts war criminals. There was a twist the to book which I worked out about half-way through, but it was definitely a book that made me think about forgiveness and who can and should forgive which actions.

I also was very very moved by this book. It was unforgettable to me.
