March Mini-Challenge 52 Books1. A character who works in maths or sciences -
Oryx and Crake (MaddAddam #1) by Margaret Atwood (Crake is a scientist)
2. A circle on the cover -
MaddAddam (MaddAddam #3) by Margaret Atwood (nest with an egg)
3. Pi or Pie? -
Pies and Prejudice (A Charmed Pie Shop Mystery #1) by Ellery Adams
I read the middle grade novel Pie by Sarah Weeks. It was a sweet little book with Pie recipes included - and a quick read if you are behind!
I was short on time for reading, so I took a bit of liberty and used Hairpin Bridge for this prompt...with the PI in HairPIn.
I had to go with The Bette Davis Club by Jane LotterI can use it in 2 ways: The main character is asked to be a PI and during a scene she has Pie. I wanted to read something about PI but I am running out of time and I am working on multiple challenges/book clubs deadlines!
I read "Pie and Prejudices" by Ellery Adams. Mix magical realism and cozy mystery featuring a bunch of cool women in the same family a pie shop and a couple murders involving horsey people
and here's what you have as an outcome!
I read/listened to Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe. I really didn’t enjoy either the physical book or audiobook. I am going to use it for Prompt 38-Don’t judge a book by its cover. Loved the cover, but not the book.😳
A book I have bought ages ago but never read until this year:The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

We’re celebrating Pi day! What is pi? Pi is a mathematical term meaning “the ratio of the circumference of any circle to the diameter of that circle.” This is in comparison to pie, which is a type of dessert. So what do we do with this as a prompt?
Feel free to interpret this prompt as creatively as you like! You could choose a book related to pie, and pick a dessert on the cover or a character who is a baker. Alternatively, you could pick something related to pi — a math textbook, a memoir about a mathematician. You could also pick a book like “Life of Pi” or even, a book about a PI (Private Investigator.) Have fun with this one!
