Patrick Doyle | 28 comments My last novel, Pierre & Bill: A Love Story, was about too much love. Van Alone is about not enough. This is my fifth book and I'm winding my way down a path that veers in and out of mystery. Jordi, Tony, and Beau are plot-driven stories with lovers and villains, while Pierre & Bill is a character-driven story where the danger is limited to everyday mortality. With Van Alone I'm trying to do both with a story about a damaged man whose quiet life comes undone by both crime and love. Still working on the cover - and the book!

Patrick Doyle | 28 comments While Van's getting all gussied up for his coming out (Van Alone 9/2022), his older brother Beau (not so old really: 5/2021) is available for a 99-cent read for the next several days.

I'd love to put him up for free but Amazon won't let free readers leave feedback, and if you decide to make his acquaintance, I'd love to hear what you think.

Here’s the Goodreads link. From there you can choose your Amazon site.

Thanks a lot - and now back to Van. I left him flailing about in the denouement.

“Beau’s Dilemma. A gay thriller, very well-written, where right along with the main character you have to figure out what's going on with all the twists and turns and puzzling events. the characters are fleshed-out and likable and the sex is sexy. I highly recommend it!” Scavola, founder of GG Gay Fiction for gay men.
