Hey guys! :) Summer here. Welcome to The Royal Selection! This is where any major announcements will be put, so check back here regularly. And have fun! The current deadline for when RP starts is March 5th.

Roleplay will be starting on March 5th. The Selection will start when we have enough Selected, but all other characters may be roleplayed on March 5th.

Everyone remember to join the chat, as that is where I'll make certain announcements, or add announcements there for you to see.

Also, those who roleplay members of the royal family, please work on your characters and get them done as soon as possible, so that they can be ready and done when needed.

The Royal family members are all filled except for the King's single sister and the Queen's brother in law! I'd like for these to be filled as well.

Also, rebel positions need to be claimed. The rebels will have a huge part of this roleplay, so pay attention to that, please. :)

And I'd just like to say thank you to those of you that are actively claiming characters, working on them in the work shop, preparing for the start of this roleplay! <3 It means the world to me, guys.

Hey guys! So, tomorrow, on the 5th, roleplay starts! Exciting, huh?

So here's how it'll go down. It'll start in the morning, a week before the Selection begins. The royal family members will gather for breakfast, and everyone else around the castle can do whatever. The Diplomats will be at the International Airport, arriving in Illea for the first time. The rebels will be in their camps. Roleplay will be slow, as many people are still making their characters.

Speaking of making characters, we need to get going on that! We need maids, diplomats, rebels, guards, royal family members, guards. Forget your selected for now, focus on what you immediately need. Royal Family Members is top priority, followed by diplomats, followed by maids and guards, followed by rebels. Let's get working on those! <3 They will be amazing.

Also, I hate to be one of 'those' moderators, but I have to say: INVITE FRIENDS. We need to fill up our claim spot and selected spots, we need people to finish up their characters, so we can get a move on with this roleplay. I want it to be successful, don't you?

I'm working on making the appropriate threads that we'll need. Airports, provinces, ect. You may roleplay your Selected in their provinces until they are added to the roleplay, but I doubt you'll have many people to roleplay with, as you can only roleplay them with their family and friends in their province. It'll be much better when we add them to the roleplay, which is why we need to fill those Selection spots up. Don't be afraid to fill them up, because there will be more Selections, this isn't the only one.

Alright then, I'll let you all get back to making your characters. :)

Roleplay has started

Selected may be roleplayed in their province ONLY, until they can come to the castle. Diplomats will arrive in Illea at the airport. Royals will be going to have breakfast. Everyone else, head to roleplay request and find someone to roleplay with, if you'd like.

Remember that you must be accepted to roleplay. And also, there's no pressure to start roleplaying. You have plenty of time to finish your characters.

I would like to make it clear that a character cannot be rp'd in two places at once. Your character must leave their place, to go anywhere else. Thank you~ Its in the FAQ

There are now 17 Approved Selected! We need 25 for roleplay to begin, and I'm aiming to have all 35. Please get working on your selected!

Also, please remember to claim provinces, this is not optional . I also need your character infos to include these provinces and also face claims, if you have this. This is essential. When I update the Character Claim list, Provinces list, and Face Claim list, these are very much needed and it makes it a lot easier on me to have them and not have to message you.

And remember, even if the Selection hasn't started, please be active. There's plenty to do, plenty more people to roleplay! There will always be spots open, this roleplay will keep moving, so I'd like everyone to enjoy roleplaying and go with what's happening. I know in many roleplays it feels overwhelming, lots of things happening in lots of places, but you can literally jump in anywhere. So keep that in mind.

All the Selected Spots for Prince Oliver's Selection is now claimed! Now we just need them to be made!

Also, more good news, the selection will quite possibly take place during this spring, lasting through the summer, so we'll have a perfectly timed roleplay! School breaks and all, right?

Lots is planned! The Report will be having an interview of the prince at some point before the selection, and there are events planned during the selection that are sure to be very interesting! So we get to look forward to that!

Anyway, if you all received the group message, you know my main announcement. We need our Selected to be finished! Take your time, but remember it's important.

Everyone, huge announcement! We now have 26 accepted Selected, and more being made every day! So, the AIRPORT is now open to Selected! Take your time, let them arrive in Angeles, rp, and have fun! From the airport they'll be going to the driveway, where reporters will catch their arrival at the palace.

But keep roleplay slow, we're still waiting on plenty of characters to be made. Have fun!

Hello everyone! So I have been a little overwhelmed with everything happening but it's alright! I'm working on the sister group, though it will not be revealed for quite some time yet.

I am trying to keep up to date with the claim list and such, though you have to be patient with me. The Selected, most of them, are currently at a giant dinner, in the dining room. Which is going well, except one girl fainted, another got physically sick because of the meal, and there's just drama everywhere.

Now then, the Selection making is CLOSED. For Oliver's first elimination, any girls not yet made or any girls who have not been rped, will be eliminated, as well as some girls he doesn't see a future with. Be warned. I am making an Elimination thread so we can see what girls were eliminated and how many are left.

I am also making two new polls, one about what girl you like best, and the other about what girl you like best with Oliver.

Hey guys! So we are more than halfway through the initial meetings with Oliver. I know it's taken some time, but we're getting there! After that we'll start the dates. Please remember to still roleplay your selected in the drawing room having breakfast, even if they aren't talking to Oliver. We need activity, and friendships to form.

Also, please remember to delete your templates from the workshop when you're done with them! Keep it neat, guys. I don't want to have to go through, searching which ones are finished and which ones aren't.

Vacation

I will be on vacation from the 27th-12th, and I have doctor appointments the 13, so I won't be on till that night probably. During my vacation I will be making replies as much as possible, but it won't be my normal amount. Things may get lost in notifications so I may need a reminder as well. My message box will be something I check daily no matter what, so don't be afraid to shoot me a message! Okies, thought I'd give everyone the heads up~

Just for everyone's information your character must be original, you cannot copy paste things from other sources or people. I have people that will check these things for me. thank you, that is all.

Sleepover

There is a girl-boy sleepover happening in the Castle. Since time is weird and I'm doubling up the dates, the sleepover is happening now! Maids, Guards, Diplomats, Anyone who works in the castle is allowed to attend. Royals may attend as well if they wish, unless they're busy. I'd prefer Selected only to attend if they do not have plans for the day. When the two dates are over and the sleepover guests are sleeping, I will be posting Oliver in a moment on the roof with Kris and during that, the rebels will attack and the alarms will wake everyone up.

Oh and the sleepover will be in April, May, and June Viana's room, I believe, under the Help's Rooms thread.

Everyone please, please, please put your characters in Workshop in spoilers. It makes the threads cleaner, the page easier to load, and more simple for us to scan through to find a certain character if someone requests us to preview. Thank you~

So I have some not-so-great news for you guys :<

Leena and I are leaving this group, effective as soon as I finish posting this. We've saved all of our characters, and if anyone wants to continue collabs in a 1x1, feel free to send either of us a message!!

We just can't stay for a couple reasons. This rp is really slow, and it's also become really dramatic and stressful... There's a lot of drama here that just isn't worth it, since we're barely ever writing anyway.

We love you all!! Don't hesitate to message either of us <3

Hello everyone.

So, despite our recent losses, this group isn't dead. I won't let it be. If anyone is fit to still rp, then we're going to keep going. If not, then the group will close down and resurface in the future. I don't know where this group will be a week from now, or a month, but I know that I'll always be here. Even when others leave.

Now we just need to get going again.
