I reccomend age 12+ Gore is very high and many brutal scenes. it depends on your tolerence for gore. i cant rerally remeber how discriptive they are but yeah it depends

They didn't show it very well in the movie (from what I've heard) but the book describes it well, it happened so fast that I had to reread that paragraph a couple times xD I think that was the purpose of the speed in the book and movie itself surrounding her death, because it was something Katniss never expected and happened in the blink of an eye. Personally, Finnicks death destroyed me, I threw my book across the entire room and sobbed. Especially when he had the flashbacks of the ocean, sugar cubes, her hair and the smell of salt. A trident. Just wrecked me. I love him so much. He was a freckled angel.

Yeah that's fair, everyone has preferences, there's a couple YA books that are a little too simplistic for me, but other books are also too hard. It's sometimes hard to find a good inbetween.

FR! She really deserved soo much better, I wasn't too big on the whole Peeta or Gale thing but it did suck that Katniss got reduced to having kids to have a happy ending .. Idk. She just felt like she would've been independent and found someone entirely new instead of just settlings <.> but maybe thats just me

That's true! I guess I'm all about like, go get em girl! Stick it to the men! Instead of a princess happy ending. Idk why. But I am glad she had a real happy ending, and she definitely loved Peeta the most, it was just weird for a bit there. I felt so bad for Gale but you're right in the beginning he was awesome! There were times late books he was a little.. Questionable, but he had his heart in the right place most of the time.

yeah im a bit squeamish and only watched it cuz my dad mad me XD

I feel that, I'm a squint your eyes kind of person xD I hope to see as little as possible, but also enough that I know what went on
