I love books, I love Whodunits, and I love books about whodunits. Looking forward to reading this book :D

Hi thanks for joining me with this book. I’m expecting to start it at the weekend. It sounds intriguing.

Just started today and that was some opening chapter. Lots to process! Comical, tragic, sad, hopeful and surprising.

40%. Lots of mysteries (which may or may not be linked) being set up and an interestingly different perspective on life.

60%. The story seemed to be floundering and then (view spoiler)[ it was March 2020, pre vaccine, first strict lockdowns. I thought she captured the strangeness of that time (and what it did to our minds and emotions) really well. It certainly resonated with my experience. (hide spoiler)]
Also wondering (view spoiler)[ how the book and Flora’s ghost are linked. Does she want to be alive to right a wrong so needs to possess Tookie? (hide spoiler)]

I'm starting this one tonight. Looking forward to it.

Finished. I loved the mix of the supernatural with the real events of 2020 and the mundane with the magical. The author does that rare thing of having something to say without losing the ability to spin an entertaining story. Original, surprising, harrowing and hopeful, I hope you all enjoy it as much as me.

I finished this last night. I found it interesting. I liked how the author covered some major news stories.
