Pages: 387 pages

Length: 1 Month (April)

Participants: Valerie, Rebecca, Shari, Saha.

Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!

Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.

Happy Buddy Reading!

Valerie Reyes | 1194 comments Just started today and that was some opening chapter. Lots to process! Comical, tragic, sad, hopeful and surprising.

Valerie Reyes | 1194 comments 40%. Lots of mysteries (which may or may not be linked) being set up and an interestingly different perspective on life.

Valerie Reyes | 1194 comments 60%. The story seemed to be floundering and then (view spoiler)
Also wondering (view spoiler)

Shari | 513 comments I'm starting this one tonight. Looking forward to it.

Valerie Reyes | 1194 comments Finished. I loved the mix of the supernatural with the real events of 2020 and the mundane with the magical. The author does that rare thing of having something to say without losing the ability to spin an entertaining story. Original, surprising, harrowing and hopeful, I hope you all enjoy it as much as me.

Shari | 513 comments I finished this last night. I found it interesting. I liked how the author covered some major news stories.
