Dean walked in and sat down, it looked like a hospital room but it was nicer.

Cassidy walked in and sat down at one of the chairs away from him

Dean sighed as he was getting nervous by being there. "This was a mistake"

"Your going to be fine." Cassidy says. "I won't let anyone hurt you. I promise."

"Really?" he says as he saw a meal there for him.

"Of course. I'll always be here no matter how angry I am at you." She mutters. 'Like an idiot.' She mentally added.

Dean looked at her, angry was a trigger word because of all the abuse he had. "Angry?..."

Cassidy looked up, "Huh?"

"You're angery?"

"Well not angry really. I dunno how I feel right now. Why?"

he gave her a picture, it was more of a threat note.

Do you WANT me angry kid?

"What is this?" She asked, eyes wide.

"The last threat note my dad sent me"

"Did he abuse you?" She asked him

"After mom left, he said it was ALL my fault"

Cassidy closed her eyes and sat back in her chair. "Cosy's dad was abusive too." She muttered.

Dean took a shuddering breath as he was holding a picture

"What's that?"

"A picture of my mom, she passed last year" he said

"Oh. I'm sorry."

"It's okay, she would have been proud"

Cassidy smiled softly, "You have her eyes." She says looking up at him

Dean smiled, "You think?"

"Yeah." She says, turning back to the picture.

"My sister had her eyes too"

"Where's your sister?" She asked

"With my aunt...in Orlando" Dean said as the nurse was taking his vitals.

Cassidy watched the nurse before replying. "Oh." She says. "I'm sorry for being mad at you." She blurts out. She looks to the nurse for her to leave.

The nurse leaves as Dean looked at Cass, "Well, you had every right to be mad"

"Not really." Se replies. "I just get so emotional sometimes. One of the perks of being a vampire, I guess. Sometimes I get caught up in my own feelings and I don't think of how others are feeling. So I'm sorry."

Dean sadly smiled, "You know i'll always forgive you"

Cassidy gave him a small smile. "Thank you." She says quietly. She felt so much better since they were over that.

Dean was scared of being here, "I want to go home..."

Cassidy held her hand in his. "Hey it'll be okay? I promise I won't let anyone hurt you." She says, seriously.

He took a shaky breath and was looking around nervously.

"Dean?' Cassidy says trying to get his attention

Dean snapped out of it, "Sorry, i blank out when I'm nervous"

"It's okay." She says. "Just try not to think about where we are."

Dean nods, "I'm in my childhood home, in the guest room." he looked at her and hesitantly held his hand out.

"Okay...that's better." She says smiling. Cassidy took his hand, waiting for him to continue.

"The smell of homemade hot cocoa, the sound of my baby sister cooing at dad's little puppet shows he used to in the living room." he said slowly

Cassidy smiled softly. She could almost imagine this scene happening.

He sighed as he opened his eyes. "That was nice"

"Did it help?" She asked. "I usually do that sometimes. I look back on Cosy's past memories from when she was still alive. And I try find a moment that I want to live in forever."

"It did, thanks Cass" he said as he smiled softly.

"Of course." Cass says. She looked out the window and wondered. 'So what exactly were they?'

"Are you okay?" he asked as he saw the look on her face.

"Not really. I guess I'm just confused." She mutters

"Confused?" he says
