Hi Everyone! Welcome! Thank you so much for joining the Memoirs of a Geisha Readalong! I'm so glad that you are here. Please do introduce yourself.

I'm Lisa of Troy and will be hosting this readalong. This will be my first time reading this book so I am very excited to dive in. Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on this read!

There will be another thread called, "Readalong Discussion (no spoilers/spoilers keeping pace with readalong)." That will be where you can log in and view/post discussion for the book.

I read this book over ten years ago and I’ve been thinking about it lately. Looking forward to rereading it.

I read this book 10 years ago as well. Read it because I really loved seeing the movie. I recently bought the copy and put it on my TBR pile, not sure when I was going to pick it up. But now I have a reason to! Super excited.
Never done a Readalong before so I am excited to try this out!

Hey everyone! You can call me Peachy, if you like. I have been in a pretty bad reading slump for months now. I went from reading multiple books a week to only two so far this year, so I am hopeful this readalong that Lisa so sweetly put together will help get me to get back in the game.

I'd read Memoires of a Geisha some 15 years ago and was swept away by the gorgeous prose and the view into a world completely unknown to me. I look forward to sharing our thoughts on this beautiful story. Happy Reading to one and all!
