My Hero Academia: The Next Generation discussion

Ford looked around. He was prepared for anything. He knew though one wrong move and he could end up on his ass.

Hitoshi nodded, "First you will be testing how fast you can run, rather that is with or without your quirk, if it can even be used. Young, Uviride, you'll both go first"

Ford nodded, got into posession, and despite not having a speed related quirk, he took off like a rocket.

Hirito walked up, stood, and watched curiously. "Well damn, Ford isn't messing around." He couldn't help but gaze a bit at Miko. He had high hopes for her and thought she was cool. He smiled, looking at her openly.

He made it back with a sliding stop. "Your up Miko." Ford said as he calmed his lungs and rapid heart rate. It was actually intimidating how quickly he did it.

"Wow. New kid's got speed" Maho stated, impressed. As he watched, he pulled his long hair up into a high ponytail, to make sure there wasn't a chance it got in his way

"That's what I was saying," Hirito commented and took a moment to glance sidelong at Maho. "Have to pull back our luscious locks for this exercise do we?" He joked. The guy seemed cool. Maybe a bit...Yeah, he wasn't going down that road.

Ford walked over and sat down. he didn't move, not even the slightest bit. He just sat down and stared. Watching his fellow classmates from behind his mask.

"Why yes I do. Don't need it tangling around my legs, now do I? I'd end up losing to my competitor" He said with abit of a smirk.
"This isn't a race, Ito" Hitoshi said, making Maho shrug.

"No..it's a test." Ford said, his Jason mask muffling his voice a bit. "And if even one of us fails.....we're out." He added. His mask adding to the already intimidating tone of his voice.

"Now I don't exactly recall saying that. You will however have extra training with me after school if you are in the bottom 5" Hitoshi explained what would actually happen.

"Mr. Shinso, I believe it is competition since, you know. You're testing our skills so far." He turned to Maho and laughed. "Eh, we'll see. Hair up or down, I think I could do a bit to tone you down to size." He stretched his legs, smirking. He stopped though once he heard the teacher mention training with him. He visually winced. I don't need another hard ass in my training methods, thank you.

"You could do with a hair cut." Ford said attempting a joke unsure if it would really land. Ford had always been serious so he'd never really gave himself time to "Loosen up" as his mother would say.

"Call it as you please Kirishima, either way this is for me to see how much you all have tested your quirks, how much you rely without them, and simply how strong everyone is. I take it you all won't disappoint me" He said, looking over the class.
"Oh I won't Sensei" Maho gave his teacher a smile before turning back to Hirito, "Down to size you say, good luck with that."

"I don't plan to." Ford said with a intimidating growl in his voice. He didn't plan on getting a low score so to speak, though when it came to his quirk that was another story.

"Hell yeah I could, but I can use it as a rope sort of, so I kept it long. Can't even remember the last time I cut it to be honest" Maho said

"Language Ito, and I hope you don't Young. With your quirk, you're bound to be more reliant on your physical ability, so I hope you've trained a lot" Hitoshi said, looking at each boy as he directed to them.

"Not good luck. I got it in. The. Bag. Big boy." Hirito chuckled, clicking his tongue. Training with Bakugo put him some places, and he's glad his dad let him do so. Cause he didn't wanna be stuck with Shinso. He's only heard stories but he didn't want to find out. "Alright then, Sensei."

"With how my quirk works I can't exactly use it to gain speed unless someone with a speed quirk is near by. So physical strength, stamina, and combat skills are what I have to focus on...even if it means wearing myself out." Ford said honestly. "I don't hold back. If I want the best results I can't afford to hold back." He added only sounding more intimidating because of his mask, and not revealing his face.

Hitoshi smiled at Ford, "You'll do great kid. I want you to meet with me after class, alright?"
Maho leaned toward Hirito slightly and whispered, "The favoritism begins"

"Yes sir." Ford responded almost soldier like.

Hirito scoffed and leaned closer so he wouldn't be heard. "And the ass-kissing will be our only way to pass."

"Or bribery. They say money can buy everything" Maho muttered quietly with a chuckle.

"Y'know I can hear you right?" Ford said not even trying to hide it.

"Ah it's fine, it's all jokes anyways" Maho reassured him with a bright smile

Ford nodded.

"Could buy me a few things." Hirito winked, chuckling with Maho and motioning to Ford. "Pish, Posh my guy. We only joke."

(Maho and Hirito are goofing off, Shinsou explained what the test is even for, and we're all waiting on Miko to go her running portion)

Ford adjusted his gloves, since they were training in school uniform they were basically wielding gloves, like you'd see in a metal shop. He was making sure they stayed on, after all his quirk could kill.

Maho held his hand to his mouth to keep from bursting out laughing.

Hirito watched Miko and whistled. "You better get a move on, Sweetie. You're late. Oooo." He laughed jokingly and waved at her, smiling genuinely.

"Don't joke about that." Ford said seriously.

"Took you long enough Uviride, get up there and start, simple 50-Meter Dash" Hitoshi stated.

"We can joke about what we please. Besides, 50% chance it may be true." Maho stated

Ford gave Miko the thumbs up.

"You can if it's useful for this portion of the test" Hitoshi said to her, waiting for her to start.

"Show them who's boss Miko." Ford said still adjusting his wielding gloves.

"See, Maho gets it." He smiled goofily and gazed more at Miko. He could tell she was nervous, and having Shinso's attention on her, wasn't helping.

Ford offered Miko a fist bump. unsure if it was aproptiate or not but he did.

Hirito clapped loudly and whistled again. "Go Club Hottie Hero: Miko!!" He grinned at her across the distance, hoping he could boost some confidence.

Hitoshi gave her a thumbs up, knowing what she was looking for. He then put his hand down and looked at Maho and Hirito, "Sence you dou seem to be somewhat competitive with each other, Ito and Kirishima, you're both next"
"Got it sensei" Maho said with a lopsided smirk as he took his place.

Ford Sighed Yup. He's gonna be the trouble maker. He thought to himself.

Hitoshi shot a glare at Hirito when he made his comment.

Though Ford wasn't taking part since he finished his, Ford was preparing mentally and physically for the next test. Even switching out his mask for just a hocky mask, and his gloves for some specially made combat gloves.

Hirito shrugged at Shinso and stepped up next to Maho. He felt no shame at what he said, even if the recipient couldn't even make eye contact with him. That was a win in his book. He activated his quirk, making his shoes slick.

Ford watched with cold eyes.
