Addison walks in the cafeteria

Ford showed up. "Hey sorry I was late class was...well let's just say I broke more then just a few school records." Ford said, rubbing the back of his head nervously.

Addison looked at him "Oh it is fine" She smiled at him

"Oh yeah I never told you my quirk did I?" Ford said as he remembered the library. "It's called "Copy Combo". Name sorta explains itself. I can copy quirk, and combine two to make a new one...though at the cost of damaging the original quirk user or users, and causing extreme physical strain to myself..." Ford said honestly. "It's touched based hence why I'm always wearing gloves." He added.

"Oh that is cool My quirk is lame" Addison looked at the floor "It is just shape-shifting I have to know something about the person I am shape-shifting into it makes me tired a lot tho" she messes with her fingers

"That's actually rather useful for stealth missions." Ford pointed out. "I imagine you can't copy the quirk but if that person never had a quirk to start with then you'd get away without any snags." He added.

Addison nodded "Yeah"

"then your quirk is far better then mine." Ford said honestly. For some reason hhe felt a bit nervous around Addison but not by much.

She looked at him "But not as cool" she smiled

"Cool? Maybe. But that "Cool factor" comes with a lot of risk." Ford said seriously. "Everything with this quirk is timed so if I even go over a second using it I could strain my body to the point where I won't be able to use something."

"Oh sounds painfully" She keeps playing with her fingers

"Usually I just cough up blood, but there was one time where a eye went blind...since then I've been very careful." Ford said seriously as he stomach growled. He blushed embarrassed behind his mask.

She giggled "You want to go get something to eat?"

"That..would be nice..." Ford said embarrassed. "Think they got pizza?"

"maybe" she shrugs

Once Ford got his food he sat down and chowed down. "Down side to using your quirk so much. You get hungry real quick." Ford said trying to joke again but unsure if he "Landed the joke".

She giggled "True" She sat down eating

"So...mind if I ask...why did you want to be a hero?" Ford asked not wanting to be rude. "I'll tell you my reason in return to make it fair." He added.

She looked at him "My parents were famous heroes they die when I was only 1 years old so I want to be like them" she smiled

Ford nodded. He the pulled out a silver locket, opened it, and showed Addison. There were two twin girls, himself, and a woman in a cat themed hero suit. "This is my family. This twins are my sisters Lilly and rose, My mom is the hero in the cat suit. Her hero name is Copy cat. She's not a big time hero but she makes due. I'm aiming to be a hero to support them better. To give them the life they deserve." Ford said honestly as you also caught the words "DO IT FOR THEM" scratched into the locket.

Addison nodded "that is cool"

"As well..." He closed the locket. "There's a bit of a stigma around me...people think because I have a dangerous quirk and my dad was a villain I'll be a villain too...I want to prove them wrong." Ford said honestly then took a bit of his food.

She looked at him "I am sure you will be a good hero" she grabbed his hand holding it

Ford blushed a bit at this though e didn't know why. "Th-Thank you Addison..I'm sure you'll do great too."

She smiles "thank you"

Must protect. Ford thought seeing her smile. "B-But yeah I'm pretty sure I broke some school records today. Mr. Hitoshi looked like he'd seen All might in his prime with some of my results." Ford joked.

"Oh?" She giggles

Ford nodded. "He looked like he was in utter shock with the grip test." He giggled as well. Opening up to Addison.

She smiled "That is good"

"Yeah but it was a bit of a struggle. Mostly cause I was trying NOT to break the box. I have plenty of power THAT I assure you...but controlling said power is the hard part." Ford admitted. "I'm pretty sure I broke at least ONE of those bullies bones in the library." He added sounding honest.

"Yeah" she smiles

"Unlike you. Your quirk is less strength and more stamina if I'm right." Ford said sounding a bit unsure, taking another bite.

"Yes" She nodded finishing her food

"Because of that it's-" Ford cut himself off as he finally realized he was rambling.

Addison looked at him

Ford tilted his head. "Did...I mess up?"

Addison was still holding his hand "mess up what?"

"You were just staring at me for a bit. Like you spaced out." Ford said honestly.

"Oh sorry I guess I did " Addison looked down blushing

"It's OK. I do that sometimes to. Especially when trying to figure out what to say." Ford said with a embarrassed blush.

Addison nodded

Ford kinda just stopped and stared at Addison. Putting one of his hands on her cheek.

(I imagine she blushes from that?)

Addison looks at him blushing

He moves his thumb gently. "Your bleeding..." He says as he gets out a band aid.

Addison looked at away

Ford put on the band aid. "There..now your a bit better." He says with a warm smile.

"Thank you" She smiles back

Must protect.... Ford thinks blushing a bit.

Addison get up "I am thirsty I going to get something to drink"
