My Hero Academia: The Next Generation discussion

Ford stopped the bike at this Restaurant. It was a small, old fashioned looking building.

Kai glanced around curiously. "What's this place?" She looked at him, her face a little blank.

Ford got off the bike. "Cheering you up first. questions later." Ford said sounding like Bakugou if Bakugou was nice all the time.

She smiled a little. "M'kay then, demanding much." She followed suit.

The moment Ford and Kai stepped in they were hit with the most wonderful smell. Whatever was cooking it smelled good. "AYE! Ford welcome...." The attendent said. "She's with me." Ford said as he nodded. "The usual seat then? Booth by the window?" The attendant said with a new York accent. Ford nodded, then waved Kai over.

Kai followed. curious and not used to all the homey air in the place. "Wow," She sat across from him.

The attendant giggled. "Aye. Welcome to Brick's Pizza." He said being friendly with Kai. "So what would you like to order? We do more then just Pizza here though it is our main thing. Names Joey by the way. Me and Ford go back so if he's cool with you then so am I." Joey said handing the two a set of menu's.

She smiled shyly. "Nice to meet you. I'm Kai, one of Ford's... Friends." She took the menu and went over it. Everything looked so good.

"If I can recommend something?" Joey said as he pointed. "This place is a bit famous for it's crazy idea's such as our pritzel crust, yes I said Pritzle crust. That's some good stuff there and it has the option to be stuffed with three different cheeses of your choice. Ford goes nuts for this option and with reason it's THAT good." Joey said with a smile. "DARN RIGHT IT IS!!!' A voice said from the back. "That's Brick. He takes a LOT of pride in his work." Joey said with a laugh.

Kai smiled a little more shyly. "Um, maybe. I would. Hm. how about this meat lover's calzone?"

"oh now THAT is a good pick. Another favorite." Joey said with a small smile. "And you Ford? The usual?" Joey asked. Ford nodded. "Right one stuffed pritzle crust pizza with pepperoni and green peppers. And considering you two don't look old enough to drink might I recommend our floats?" Joey said coming off as just a nice guy.

"A rootbeer float, please." She set the menu aside.

Joey wrote it down. "And Ford?" He asked. "I'll switch it up this time and get a rootbeer float as well." Ford said as Joey nodded. "Alright. while your guy's Pizza and Calzone are cooking we'll set you up with some three cheese cheesy bread to munch on while you wait." Joey said as he left. A slow Elvis song played in the background.

"Found this place when I was little. Me and my mom helped them out and we've been friends ever since." Ford said honestly.

She smiled. "That's amazing. And adorable." She chuckled a little. "I never really had that."

Ford blushed. "Well...It kinda just happened. Until recently we used to get our pizza from here because it was good but not so expensive it breaks the bank." Ford said. "UNLIKE THOSE OTHER HIGH AND MIGHTY RESTAURANTS." Brick said giving his two cents on the matter which made Ford laugh a bit. "Yeah what Brick said." Ford said as he leaned back into the booth.

Joey came back with the Cheesy bread. "Right you two got lucky this batch was already near finish." He said with a smile and gave the two there drinks. As well as stuff like motsarella or crushed red pepper to put on there cheesy bread. "Uh fair warning young miss the dipping sauce is a bit spicy." Joey warned.

"I'm a bland person, so I don't like sauce anyway." She smiled. "Thanks for the warning though." She turned to Ford. "Oh, I see. Still adorable. I just eat whatever. As I don't really have a family to eat with."

Ford nodded. "Trust me once you try that Calzone you won't want any other brand." Ford said with a smile as he drank his float a bit, and ate a bit of Cheesy bread. "This place has been around since the fifties. But Brick is the most recent owner, and he decided he'd give back to the people by making it a pizza place. Good food, good music, and my favorite part." Ford pointed out to the window. You could see almost all the of the city from it.

She picked up a cheesy bread and took a bite. "I see. Very family-friendly. " She took another bite and went a little silent.

"Good right?" Ford said with a smile.

She nodded. "Mhm. It's delicious." She ate another one and took a sip of her float.

"They make everything themselves, even have the option to do brick oven if your into that." Ford eating another one as well.

"I like the taste of brick oven cooked things. They have a nice taste." She took another bite of her bread and sipped her drink.

"Not really my thing but if you like it cool." Ford said as he smiled.

Joey just kinda watched the two as there order was cooking.

She chuckled and shook her head. "Mhmmm." She glanced at Joey, blushing a little and looking away when she caught him looking at them.

"So you like to preform right?" Ford asked remembering the preformers and how she played guitar.

She shook her head. "Oh, no-no-no. I just play in my free time. And by myself." She smiled shyly and sipped her float. "I don't like to perform in front of others, makes me nauseous."

"Well you did great when we danced together. Maybe you should try it?" Ford said, holding her hand a bit. He wasn't blushing or stuttering e was just being Ford.

She blushed slightly and looked at him, then at their hands. "I-I don't know really. I'm not that good."

"Come on...I'm sure you are." Ford said as he blushed a bit, but not much.

"Aye!" Joey said coming back with Ford's Pizza and Kai's Calzone, as well as some cinnomon stick. "On the house." Joey said with a wink at Ford.

She flushed and pulled her hand back smiling nervously at Joey and taking her food. "Thank you very much."

(Oh they gonna kiss by the end of this.)

Ford nodded and took his Pizza. "Eat it while it's hot." Ford said after putting some crushed red pepper on his pizza.

She nodded and carefully ate her Calzone, she burnt her tongue once but she managed. "This is delicious."

"Brick uses only the freshest." Ford said before eating. "It's why even the cheesy bread taste like it came from a four star Restaurant."

She was too busy eating to respond so she nodded. "Mm"

Ford nodded. "I knew it would make you feel better." Ford said as he ate as well.

She lifted her head and smiled slightly. "I feel a little better. Thanks, Ford."

"My pleasure. This place is basically my hideaway. Whenever I need to just...tune the world out...I come here..Your welcome to use it too." Ford said with a smile.

She prodded her half-eaten Calzone with her fork. "Well, I usually play or dance. At my old warehouse."

"That might be good for YOU. But here...at least you get good food, and nice people to talk to." Ford said with a gently, but warm smile.

She glanced away. "Yeah, but when I first had my issues I couldn't be around people. My quirk would be too forceful on their minds and drag up some things they'd rather keep hidden. So I had to go somewhere where I wouldn't make people miserable. And it stuck with me."

"Well..your better now right? maybe go back there if you get worse alright?" Ford said placing his hand atop her's.

She flushed a little. "S-Sure. Just haven't been close with anyone. Given maybe Bakugo in his own way."

"Well..I suppose your Close with me...after all your helping me control my quirk...something I'm very greatful for." Ford said as he looked at his gloved hands a moment then back to Kai.

She frowned and pulled his hand across the table and took off his glove, pulling the fingers one by one before finally tugging it off and touching his hand. "Yeah, luckily you cant copy my quirk. If you did. I have no idea... It's very mentally based. Could make you go insane."

Ford laughed. "Yeah your probably right..." Ford said as he leaned in closer. "Y'know your eyes really are beautiful...there like emeralds....some of the most beautiful things I've ever seen." Ford said honestly.

She flushed and opened her mouth to speak but then only stuttered. "I- uh- um. T-thank you." She finally got out, still touching his hand.

Ford blushed a bit. "Honestly...I'm glad I met you..and that you stopped me when i was training...you...helped me...relax..." Ford said as he was trying to resist the urge to kiss her.

(I'm only gonna kiss her if she's fine with it. don't want to make this weird.)

She smiled a little. "Well, I was told to help you. I was in the same boat at one point." She held his hand.

"yeah...I..guess you were." Ford said as he could help it and just kissed her. Dead on the lips.

She blushed and gasped a little, having not seen it coming. She had never been kissed before and didn't know how to respond but went with her gut and kissed back a little before pulling back. Her face was beet red and she ducked her head.
