Play Book Tag discussion

An awkward house party gathers at Lady Tressilian's home, Gulls Point, in September. Neville Strange has brought his new wife to meet his first wife as he wants them to be friendly but the atmosphere is anything but friendly. The tension increases over the week until a murderer strikes.

I had this on Audible read by Hugh Fraser who plays Captain Hastings in some of the TV shows and it was very nicely read. I don't know if it's because I've read it before and knew what was coming, but I think this is one of Agatha Christie's most creepy stories. Although it's a classic cosy mystery with a house party, a cast of suspects and a solid police detective it seems more of a psychological thriller with a surprisingly evil motive.
