I liked this because it's a good book to have to read to distance ourselves from the media. Similar books I've read are New Seeds of Contemplation by Thomas Merton. 5 stars

I picked this book up because my co-worker was looking at it. She showed it to me and I liked the cover and she said insert about the book sounded interesting. This is a great historical story about women during the 19th century. Set in Paris in an actual asylum that still stands to this day. It is a work of fiction but an insight to how women were actually treated during this time period. Echoes of maltreatment against women still ring true today. People who like The Savage Instinct by Marjorie Deluca and The Poison Thread by Laura Purceil will like this book. 4 stars

I liked this book because it gave me something enjoyable to talk about, and it was extremely entertaining. I am reading Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters right now, and it's the only other book I've read that is similar. This was a new experience and out of my comfort zone in reading. 5 stars

I picked this book because I like Prince. This is a book comprised of interviews through the years with Prince. They are chronological so one is able to see the rise of a shy, young man into the megastar icon. Prince was definitely one of a kind and an interesting person with varied philosophies and beliefs which all come to light in this book. The last interview was a great look into the mind of a talented and complex artist. A very enjoyable read for Gen X people. 5 stars

The entire time I was thinking how it would make a great movie. It was very interesting so much so I could hardly put the book down. I read most of it in one sitting. It's an easy read and I learned about an old past occupation I had never heard of. This book kept my interest until the very last page. People who like The Whiskey Baron by Jon Sealy and The Last Train to Key West by Chanel Cleeton will like this book. 5 books

I picked this book up because I had started This Book is Full of Spiders and only realized in the first chapter that book was a second in a series. I started this book and just had a good laugh through out this whole book. I like weird books and this book was definitely weird. This one is not for everyone and have finished the whole series. Waiting on the new one to come out so I can read it. Anyone who likes weird, funny, fantasy and science fiction will like this book. 5 stars
