Megan | 1 comments I'm starting May with The 39 Steps adapted by Patrick Barlow. I feel like comedy in theater is such a difficult thing to pull off. I know I'm not alone in the frustrations of trying to find comedic monologues that are even remotely funny. Which isn't necessarily the fault of the monologue, because context is key.
My goal is to make my way down the ladder of comedy, starting with farce to see if I can actually find any funny monologues that would work in an audition setting. Let me know if you have any comedic play suggestions!
