3.5/5Very original story but I felt that it drug a little bit. It may be difficult to keep students wrapped up in the story. However, it was such an interesting story that it is worth recommending to all our students.
4 out of 5 stars for Beast of Prey. This book was so fun and for the most part kept me engaged in listening. Had I been reading it, there may have been few times that I would've spaced out and had to reel myself back in but I thinks teens will really like it.
3/5I didn't think this was a very intense or plot-driven book, but it was a fun listen. I don't know if it would've held my attention if I had actually read it. The characters seemed to be just getting started in having some sort of arc when the book ended, but, hopefully, that continues into the next book.
I think the author has a lot of potential to write some cool things and I suggest picking this up and following her journey.
