Did anyone see the movie 1408 based on the Stephen King short story "1408" from his collection of short stories "Everything's Eventual"? I read the story first and then saw the movie. The movie was a huge let down - I wouldn't even recommend it to anyone. The book of short stories was pretty good and there were several really creepy ones - I especially liked "The Road Virus Heads North".

I totally agree with you about this movie! OMG, some friends and I were looking forward to seeing this and it was almost laughable! And the ending, what kind of crap was that?

i strongly disagree!! i saw 1408 and i loved it! john cusak is an amazing actor!

I agree that the movie was a bit of a let down but it was alright. The short story was SO much better.

I didn't read the story yet, but the movie was definitely creeper-ific!
