Since 2013 I've won 56 books through Goodreads Giveaways and a few through LibraryThing, my favorites have been The Almond Tree by Michelle Cohen Corasanti and Not Quite the Classics by Colin Mochrie and The Lady Alchemist by Samantha Vitale
I have won 16 books through Goodreads Giveaways. I have only read one, The Tsarina's Daughter by Ellen Alpsten which I did enjoy and it made me buy the other in the series.I am planning on reading Forgiving Paris by Karen Kingsbury for the prompt Don't Judge a Book by its cover, because that is exactly what I did on the giveaway. I don't read Kingsbury, although I have many relatives that have recommended her books to me. Well, I entered the giveaway looking at only the title and cover (obviously I didn't read the author's name). Since I won it I decided that it would fit the prompt well.
I've won maybe 10 giveaways total and only 5 of them through goodreads the best being an ARC of Lessons in Chemistry that I received last year. I highly recommend this book! Through TBR I won 2 ARC's ( Next Year in Havana , The Queen of Hearts ) and I loved them both despite initially thinking "maybe I shouldn't enter this giveaway, these are not like the types of books I normally choose to read." My advice is take that risk sometimes and you might be pleasantly surprised.
Currently I'm waiting for my latest win Twenty Years Later to arrive in the mail. It's always exciting to be a winner of a free book or an ARC.
I've won a ton of books through giveaways, but my absolute favorite was Where Can I Flee by A.M. Heath. I loved it so much that I contacted her to tell her. We became friends and I've edited every book she's released since then! Her latest, Painted Memories, is nominated for a Selah award.
I've actually won quite a few through Goodreads. I feel bad to say I don't get around to reading them right away , I am just now reading Stolen which I think was the first book I ever won. So far I am loving it!!! Written like a true story. Its hard to believe its not true.

If you're referring to the Goodreads Giveaways, I found when I was both rating and reviewing every single book I read I won quite a few, and now that I only have time to rate them and not write a review I haven't won any. Officially they say there is no correlation, but I'm pretty sure there is a correlation.

May 7, 2022 -- Week 19
We love hosting giveaways here on The 52 Book Club (check our website!) but we also love entering giveaways too! So today's bookish discussion question is... have you ever won a book in a giveaway? Which one?
Liz says "I think my favorite giveaway win so far was a signed copy of Finlay Donovan Knocks 'Em Dead by Elle Cosimano."
How about you?
