5/5I loved this story so much. I didn't really want it to end because I fell in love with our characters and so wanted him to make what I thought would be "the right choice" and to see how that would play out. I love that it incorporates poetry in a very accessible way and shows the process a writer needs to take in order to get it right. Love love love
5 out of 5 stars! I really this book. As always, I listened to the the audiobook and it was well written and well read. I loved the characters and the story kept me engaged and cheering for Cash and Delaney. The bond between those two are really portrayed in the writing and I loved the poetry in the book! I have not read anything else by Zenter but I am adding more of his books to my "to-read" list.
Sometimes, a book touches a piece of your soul; this was such a story. There was not a thing about this book that I did not love. I will be sharing it with my book club for our back to school read in August. The characters were strong, the emotions were raw, and the storyline was authentic. 10/5 will read again.
