Anna (Bananas) | 757 comments Oh, I liked this one. Curious to see what everyone thinks...

K.N. (karmaplace) I have a copy from the library, so I'll be starting it soon! (I'm here making sure I get the discussion updates).

NotQuiteAllHere I am actually reading this for the second time... I love this series and I can't wait for to talk to someone about it... cause my friends still haven't read it yet hehehe

Katie (sfladreaming) | 5 comments Definitely one of my all-time favorite series! Even got my husband to read it, he just finished Fairest. I haven't started it yet! :). I am a Wolf fan btw!!! ;)

NotQuiteAllHere Total Wolf fan too! Weres are one of my favorite monsters ever hehehe I am reading it again because I am trying to get one of my friends to read but she doesn't like too much violence and I couldn't remember what the violence level was hehehe

I just read Fairest last week... it was super good! She is so crazy hehehe

Katie (sfladreaming) | 5 comments I can't wait to read it! Trying to finish all the manga I have first. Lol, I'll get to it soon though!

Anna (Bananas) | 757 comments I have the sequel - thinking I should start that.

NotQuiteAllHere Which Scarlet or Cress? I love Scarlet she is a BA hehehe

Anna (Bananas) | 757 comments Scarlet - that's the second one, right?

K.N. (karmaplace) I just finished this! There was a lot of awesome stuff to love, but the predictability (aside from the obvious Cinderella plot points) soured it for me. Did anyone else wish that things weren't spelled out so clearly?

NotQuiteAllHere I am not the best judge of predictability because I find most books very predictable and just except that. I wouldn't say this book was any more or less predictable then any other YA book really. Yes I would agree that there some obvious "secrets" but I am completely willing it look over that for the fun fairy tale and cyber punk story.... beside the story gets so much better the next book. Wolf and Scarlet being freaking awesome and Thorne is my favorite cause I see him as a selfish super hero.... busting into a room with his hands fisted on his hip, chest puffed out, yelling " I am here to save my own butt!" hehehe

Jim (jkmfilms) | 109 comments I really enjoyed this one...I love retellings, especially when they are done well. I thought Meyer did a good job of twisting it just enough to make it fresh.

One thing I was disappointed in, though was the (view spoiler)

I thought Cress and Scarlet were even better than this one, and I have the audio for Fairest on hold at the library.

Make sure you check out the prequel, Glitches. You can find it in the free Kindle eBook The Fierce Reads Anthology or on the Wattpad site/app (wattpad.com)

And I have to say I really loved The Little Android, which also takes place before Cinder. It's a retelling of The Little Mermaid, and it is wonderful. You can find it if you go to the Wattpad website or download the app and search for it.

I think that's an excellent description of Thorne!!

NotQuiteAllHere Thanks! The image kept me giggling all the way through the last two books and can't wait for the next one hehehe
