Nightmares and Dreamscapes discussion

Guys! We are a creative bunch of bibliophiles, gamers and well rounded weirdos! The best types of people! We've been having fun playing in some of the other threads making up characters and scenarios and there have been some really fun creations. We want more of that! So let's play! Create a character, tell us what weapons you bring to the table and describe your battle gear! If you have an idea for a scenario for us to play with toss it in and we'll see where it takes us. Have fun!

Obviously I am The Ninja Clown! I wear the latest and greatest combat armor (in black of course) but since I am always cold I also wear a hoodie and sweatpants over it. Helps me blend into the crowd. I am a master with my katanas but also carry a small SMG and a flamethrower (mainly for defense against spiders).

I have a small army of house cats led by the tiny but mighty black assassin Lucifer. His feet knives are deadly.

I also have my trusty sidekick Buffy the mutt (clearly she's in charge of vampire slaying).

I'd basically be an undead skeleton mage that has demons for pets and uses damage over time affliction spells. I'd have an awesome black staff and a black robe \m/

I am the Crusader Shadow Queen and I have a full bodied black leather outfit with a black hood and black boots. My weapons are twin daggers along with a katana. I also have a plasma rifle (for turning anything into goo - lol) and an endless supply of throwing stars. Master weapon skills and martial art skills.

I have a trusty black panther named Pouncer (don't laugh - lol) - she can be mean and has wicked claws that will tear you apart.

The London Irish Samurai, of course the obligatory Katana, but also I wield a magic sheleighly more powerful than thors mljonir exactly the same as thors hammer but better. My outfit is mainly green with gold trim and a white helmet. Only weekness is Pie, mash and liquor only cos its luverly

Alia - I am going to create a character for you.

You will be a Ninja Shadow Master and you have mastered the art of invisibility - you have martial art skills and you have an invisible cooking cauldron - it only appears when you get ready to cook.

Your outfit/armor is: Ebony light weight armor and you have a black hood with black boots but your boots are muffled so no one can hear you. Your boots are equipped with chinese stars on the toes and heels. When you perform your marital arts skills your feet are lethal - one slice and that is the end of your enemies. :)

You are able to blend in with the shadows and become invisible.

We just need to give you a name. If you want to name yourself you can and if you want Sally or I or LTJ to name you we will. :)

I am going to create a scenario. We started with a spaceship over on the Food thread so we are moving the ship over here.

So our spaceship is huge and we have a few decks. The bottom deck is for Jeffrey as he wants to grow a fresh garden.

We can have different decks for different things. We have one deck that is the armory - well we have to have that so that we can resupply ourselves if needed.

Sally is our captain. :)

We have a food/sweets bar, liquor bar, coffee/donut bar and what else do we have?

Alia is our cook. LTJ runs the coffee/donut bar.

What else do you all want on the ship?

I guess in the center of all the bars is the lounge, very important, those warrior cats need to chill down somewhere.

We need an AI deck, someone has to keep us from exploding ourselves.

Yes - we need a deck for the cats - I agree - we need a pet deck anyway as most of us have pets. :)

Oh yes - you will definitely have to cook us up something edible!

Jeffrey can be your cooking assistant as long as he doesn't blow anything up! LOL

By the way what kind of character are you and what is your armor? What weapons do you have stored on you? And what is your name?

My character is named Debbie the Shewarrior. She is pretty short coming in at 4 ‘11. Wears full battle armor in rose gold and carries many melee weapons. She’s a tank in a battle because she prefers to wreck havoc than consider a plan and have a fine tuned approach.

She has two side kicks. One side kick is her cat Emmy the Chonk who wears matching rose gold armor but since she’s so floof, her kitten puff sticks out from every small opening. Emmy is also a tank cat and can cause havoc with her four paws of death. The other side kick is an old orange handsome man cat named Alex. He wears no armor and fights no battles. He sleeps 23 hours a day and only wakes to eat, drink, potty and get pets. However, for 1 minute a day he can answer questions as he offers great wisdom.

I’m not sure about my job on the ship though.

I cannot say without giving away spoilers. But I will tell you to be forewarned - this book series would run in the horror genre and could be considered "light extreme". :)

Badass Goth Chick and I love your name! Venus Mayhem sounds badass! What kind of armor do you wear? What are your special skills? (can be anything you want) and you can have cool weapons (again anything you want). :)

I think we should have you as the captain of the security team and along with your side kick cats no one will be able to slip past your security detail. :)

Definitely not lame! Every group need a lead goth. Someone in charge of finding the best new intergalactic bands and making sure the playlist on the ship is stellar! Also you would be in charge of bringing all of the eyeliner, there is never too much eyeliner!

was't sure about the armor and skill but Sally gave me an idea.

my armor would be the sound of metal. (sounds lame lol)
when i feel the power of metal in me a cape of light and sound gets wrapped around me. idk lol
when not destroying the planet or saving it i am rolling around in my combat boot style skates and when it's time to kick butt the skate part disappears and turns into deadly spikes.
i don't use eyeliner myself but my character does. not only can it be used as makeup but with a touch of a button could be turned into a weapon of some sort.

Love it Sassy! The cape of light sounds so cool! Oh and the combat skate boots sounds definitely lethal!

It seems that our crew aboard the spaceship will definitely be able to defend in case of an invasion! We have some serious armor and weapons! :)

My pappy always told me never make a promise you can't keep. But then he started shouting "no, no, NOOOO!" So I'm not sure where we stood on that. It got super awkward...

So, I'm not sure I should I should make promises I can't 100% be confident with. LOL!!!!! (Just kidding!)

Yeah, sorry, Marie. Not sure I can promise that. LOL!! Roasting habaneros for magma salsa tends to peel the paint off the walls every time. Not sure if a porthole can stand up to it.

Debbie likes the idea of order and plans for it but she also likes to pick a fight so while things generally run smoothly every so often there is a frenzy.

the light and sound could change color and frequency depending on my mood. think of a chameleon. lol
