Hi, Elizabeth and Storm,

I just finished HATCH. Whew! I feel like I am reading a cross between the movies THE MIST and EVOLUTION. And the isolation and so many people dying feels like now.

However, to me it really is a story about how the bodies of preteens and teens start changing, and how old friends and relationships shift as young people start trying to make sense of their family situations, what they have in common with others, and who they are becoming.

A cliffhanger for sure. Since we have read this book over the summer, more or less, are we up for reading the final book over the fall?

I've got four chapters left. My first thought is that it has taken me so long to get through this one that I'd rather wait until next year. However, I am a finisher, so I might want to go ahead and at least check out Thrive and give it a try.

Two chapters left of Hatch. I'll go ahead and check out Thrive from the library. It will fit in with Series September.

Great. It will finish a trilogy.

I finished Hatch this morning and was surprised at what a cliffhanger it was! About the only thing that was wrapped up was that Seth made it back to them. There are so many things unresolved. I suppose that will make it more compelling to go ahead and pick up in September.
