Just like in Kiyo’s vision, Gemstone Cave had larger than life precious stones. The largest stone stood in the center, an Amber stone with Amethyst veins. Suddenly, Nightshade magic surrounded the stone. Inside, Kiyo’s body appeared. Several veins burrowed into her chest, stomach, arms and legs. Smaller veins wrapped around her throat. The stone began the long arduous process of healing and restoring Kiyo’s body. ((When Kensen comes here, there will be a trial to determine whether he is worthy of her. It will be long and painful and Kensen will need to be honest to pass the trial. Attack the crystal it starts the trial))

A serpent is launched out of his hand and is turned into a sword which with all of his strength slashed downward at the crystal

A pale hand shot out, catching Kensen’s wrist. A woman stepped out from behind the crystal, critically assessing Kensen. “If I allowed you to continue attacking the stone, it would’ve shattered killing Kiyo inside.” Dropping his wrist, she stood in front of the crystal. She looked like Kiyo in her 20s. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously, “State your name and your business with the Nightshade of Balance.” ((Answer and ask her name please.))

"I am here to find her my name is Kensen, what is your name?" He asked coldly

“My name is Kameke, the original Nightshade of Balance.” Folding her arms she said, “If you want her, you have to pass my trial. Answer honestly, and she is yours. Answer falsely, and you’ll never see her again in this lifetime or the next.” Looking at Kensen she said, “Knowing that, are you still willing to undergo the trial?”

"I will, it is something that i will complete your trial as a victor not as a defeated" He said

Kameke looked at Kensen for a long time before answering. “Let the trial begin.” A thin rope of light shot out from her hand, wrapping around Kensen’s left wrist. “This will show us if you’re telling the truth. Lie…” The rope tightened around his wrist burning, causing Kensen to fall to his knees. “Well, that’s self-explanatory right there.”

When Kensen got to his feet she started, “24 years ago, a succubus came and passed my trial. If you knew where Kiyo’s body went back then, would you have come here to save her?”

"Yes, I would've if I could but 24 years ago I couldn't wake up I thought I was dead the Nightmare virus had infected me then I couldn't move, but now I can save her" He said his eyes turned deep blue and black at the thought

"Nothing will stop me from it" He said his eyes flashed crimson as black mist started coming off him

"I lived from that virus and mutated so I can see her again, I won't let this trial stop me from that," He said as he started standing up

I am not near a keyboard right now

Kameke watched the rope, it pulsed with light but didn’t react to Kensen’s statement. Based on Kiyo’s memories, she knew Kensen would have done anything to have her back. But it was a necessary question, one she needed to hear. She showed no emotion as she answered, “I believe you. Balance was always born blind so we can see what others can’t…the goodness that lies between the Darkness and the Light. But here is what we all fear, to be left alone. To never be loved, or even find out true Soul Mate. If Kiyo wasn’t born blind, would you have loved her still?” ((This is her greatest fear, that he wouldn’t have loved her if she was perfect.)

"Yes I would, I do not care about perfection, but I would love her nonetheless if she was," He said serpents came out of his back and out of his arms

Kameke was surprised at Kensen’s answer. Many who had entered her trial had always failed at the second question. But Kensen, it seemed he truly loved Kiyo. Like hers did once upon a time. Is it him? Could he finally break my soul free from this place? One thing at a time Kameke. ((So Kameke’s soul was bound to this place when she died. Bound by the old Council. The only way she was to be free was if the Nightshade King of her time came and freed her. Something went wrong (you can decide what, maybe he died before he could) and she had been stuck here since. She believes that her love abandoned her here and her heart is broken. So now she waits for the Nightshade King of this time to free Kiyo. Maybe her love is in Kensen?))

This was going to be the hardest question yet. “This is the last part of the trial. It’s more of a scenario question.” Closing her eyes, Kameke said, “You have achieved everything you want and are about to get what you always wanted: the title of Nightshade King.” Taking a deep breath she forced herself to continue, “Kiyo lies before you in a pool of her own blood. She had helped you reach this point, but at the cost of her final life. You have a choice Kensen: Save Kiyo but in doing so you give up your chance to be Nightshade King. Become Nightshade King…and you lose Kiyoshi forever. What will you choose.” ((Can we see him struggle on this answer please?))

Tightening the rope, Kameke repeated, “What will you choose?"

"... I choose... Kiyo... The title is not what I want nor wish for... Given the choice I will save her" He said

Kameke felt his truth down to her bones. The rope disappeared from around Kensen’s wrist. “You are only the 2nd Nightshade to pass my trial. Your truth, however painful it was, showed that you are worthy of Balance. And you also proved yourself to be the Nightshade King. No one else.” Turning away, she looked at the crystal. The veins had disappeared from around Kiyo’s neck and chest. Touching the crystal, she whispered a spell. The wall disappeared underneath her hand. Kiyo slumped down the wall unconscious. Sadness creeped into her voice, “Take her home, she is yours.” She walked away. She had hoped that maybe this time her spell would be broken. That he finally came for her. That she’d be finally free. But the spell has not broken, so she believed Kensen wasn’t him. Tears fell down her face as she thought, I’ll never be free of this place… ((Please get Kiyo out of the crystal and hold her. It’s about to get interesting))

"I see," He said as he walked over the crystal and pulled Kiyo out of it and held her close to himself

Kiyo slowly woke in his arms. "Ken...sen...i knew yoi would come." She hugged his neck burying her head in his chest. "Did you mean it? About..." A pained scream was heard. Kiyo looked around saying "Kameke?!"

Further inside the cave, in an older part; Kameke's aura and soul was being torn apart. Sometime after the tria, Yokiro reappeared. In order for him to be ressurected, he had to absorb the aura and soul of the person he hated the most. Following Kameke, he cornered her in the cave believing she was Kiyo and attacked her. Magic was thrownat each other, but Kameke was overpowered. It was here she screamed in pain

"I will be back and yes I meant every word, I will deal with this problem," He said as the serpents exited his body and a black mist surrounded the cave, which reveals the true nature of the virus, he walked in

When Kensen appeared, the process was halfway done. Thick black poisonous veins ripped through her form, absorbing her aura and soul. She was suspended in mi-air. As time passed, Yokiro was becoming more solid as Kameke faded. ((Stop him! Maybe this is when her lover appears? Whats his name btw?))

Kensen struck out with his serpents which latched on to Yokirio infecting him with the virus

Kameke moaned falling through the air. The poison remained in her soul looking like burrowing worms. She crashed to the floor as Yokiro fought the infection

The virus quickly spread to his arms and legs shutting off their use in 3 days they will explode

Kameke laid on the floor confused. Kensen had reappeared and was attacking Yokiro. Kiyo…what happened to her? She could sense her in the other cave safe. Coughing in pain, she shook her head back and forth fighting the poison. ((Kameke is the only one who knows the song that rebalances the world, and if she dies so does the knowledge. It’ll take a long time before Kiyo discovers what the song is, so the war will continue to go on. Not sure how this will work. Will her lovers spirit come out to help her or will he take over Kensen’s body temporarily to talk to her? It’s up to you.))

The Nightshade of Hate is arriving quickly He is alone now and each day remebering his past which is being morphed to show only the ones who betrayed him and show him the people he cared about to die which will turn him permanently" "Kensen" said his voice sounded deeper and quiet like the Necromancer king

Yokiro screamed as his soul was taken away to be tortured for eternity. Kameke laid on her side, the poison gone because Yokiro was gone. But the damage was already done. She felt the change in power, a familiar power. No…it couldn’t be… ((hold her please))

The possessed Kensen pulled her close to him "I said I would return to you, I am working on a spell to reincarnate myself and the moment I am I will come find you Kameke I am here for you even in this infected body" "Kensen" said
