Hina Tabassum Khatri | 9 comments I have often been asked why I prefer Medical Romances. I have written the following blog post as a reply.

What do you think? You can comment on the blog (preferably) or here.

Christine | 6 comments I also love Medical Romances! I find that there is more "story" there, and that as characters, they feel more "real" than most HPs. For me, the heroines are more likeable, intelligent, mature, and the Heroes less obnoxious, and I'm less likely to feel "Huh?! WTF" and want to throw the book against the wall. Of course, some stories don't meet expectations, but in general, I'll take a Medical over a HP.

Hina Tabassum Khatri | 9 comments Exactly Christine.

Nobody is all full of themselves because they know what is at stake. It humbles them down and makes them more real.

Jen - Reviews | 15 comments I read my first medical romance two years ago and since then have always looked out for them. Love 'em!

Sonya Heaney I have to admit that I'm a squeamish person sometimes, so there are occasionally details I skip! :/ But what I like about medical romances is that the stakes are high. It's the same reason I enjoy romantic suspense. That added worry that makes a happy ending worth more.

But in the end, the reason I enjoy them is because I've come across some really, really good authors who write it.

Hina Tabassum Khatri | 9 comments That is awesome Jennie.

What matters is that you like them Sonya.

Christine | 6 comments Just finished reading When One Night Isn't Enough (Madrin Memorial Hospital, #1) by Wendy S. Marcus . Parts of it I wondered if it was a Desire! Loved it.

Hina Tabassum Khatri | 9 comments I haven't read that one Christine.

Next on my list are these two; The Surgeon's Christmas Wish and Breaking Her No-Dating Rule.

Have you read any of these?

Emergency: Wife Lost and Found

The Rebel Doctor's Bride

There are more that I'd like to put the links of but am in a hurry.

Loved both of those. Both Carol Marinelli and Sarah Morgan are two of my fave authors, along with Melanie Milburne. I'm pleased, too, that there are some newer authors who are just so good

Haven't yet read the two on your list, but now I shall!

And then we shall discuss them. I love discussing stories and books after I have read them!

Jen - Reviews | 15 comments Olivia Gates has written some FANTASTIC medical romances. Radical Cure is one, The Desert Surgeon's Secret Son is another. Both have around 100 reviews and almost all are 5 star ratings.

A second chance worth waiting for!

Midwife Bronte Porter loves helping young mothers deliver their babies. As a single mother, she also knows how challenging—and rewarding—raising a child on your own can be. Ten years ago, Bronte nearly gave up her hard-won independence for a future with dashing Cole Fraser. Saying no was the right decision at the time, but she's never forgotten him…

Now, with Bronte reeling from her teenage daughter's baby bombshell, renowned obstetrician Cole chooses this moment to come back into her life. Cole just crossed a continent to convince Bronte to say yes to a lifetime together. And he has only seven days to convince her.
