Good old Marcus! Poor guy. I'm an oldest child as well, but thankfully I have loving grandparents ;D Jaye, you are seriously gifted when it comes to writing likable - nay, lovable! - characters!

Marcus! Although he isn't one of my favorite characters, I love how he changed in TKS and am very interested to see how things work out for him over the rest of the series.

Marcus is so cool and I want more of him! He became so nice by the end of TKS. He was being a little think-headed near the beginning but he came around and I really like him now. :)

Don't worry, there will be more of Marcus. ^_^ Especially in the next book, considering . . . things. ;)

I'm in love with anyone named Marcus, due to my favorite book (Pearl Maiden), and Francine Rivers series (Mark of the Lion), and Dee Henderson's O'Malley book (The Guardian). While your Marcus broke my heart in TKS, I still believed in him. I look forward to getting to enjoy his strength being used for the good guys!

I know this is way out of date but I love those two Marcus's too. Haven't read Pearl Maiden.
