I didn't care for this movie. Anyone else want to share their thoughts - either way?

Travis I saw in another post that you felt that this one was excellent... I didn't like seeing Wanda in this role after seeing WandaVision... I can understand the motivation in both cases, but it feels repetitive here.

Didn't love how the guys in the MCU all get a redemption arc, while the girl gets a mountain dropped on her, but having avoided spoilers, the Wanda reveal caught me by surprise and she was a kick-ass foe and I liked how they resolved the arc.

It's not perfect.
Vision gets a raw deal.
But, it's comics, so it is fixable, if they and Elizabeth Olsen wants to.

and all the other stuff was really well done and trippy and cosmic.
I get where people might have issues, but I stand by my review.

It is a take on 'Wanda be crazy...!" but not quite as extreme and damaging as House of M.

With all the Wanda talk, I forgot:

"Stephen, are you happy?" and the parallels between his and Wanda's arc was nicely done.

I like that Strange isn't a hero that can win by punching. He has to outthink his bad guys.

The cut scene: Yes!!! So happy.

Strange thing about this movie - pun intended... I've enjoyed Sam Raimi movies more than not... prior to this one - not sure I've seen one I didn't like... the Spider-Man trilogy, Army of Darkness, For Love of the Game...
With him directing this one I though - cool - good fit... and when I saw it - I saw what I expected(?), but it just didn't work for me somehow...
Maybe it's a matter of comparing it to the first Doctor Strange... or maybe it's Stephen not seeming like the main character in his own movie...?
