Kayla (kaylawhata) | 55 comments Would anyone like to submit a book review for the Friends of the Library newsletter? This does not necessarily have to be a YA book, but the Friends want to make TAB more involved, and are even considering a teen Friends group of some sort. More on that to come later, but if you want to write a review of a recent book you've read, email it to me at paynekm@ci.staunton.va.us (or you can submit it here if you prefer).

Thanks!

Riven (ravenismaven) | 63 comments I'll do one! Is there length requirements or a due date or anything I need to know before writing my review?

Kayla (kaylawhata) | 55 comments About 100 words or less, and if you could have it end by the end of this week (or by TAB on Monday) that would be great!

Riven (ravenismaven) | 63 comments I'll bring it to Tab and send it to you in a email before then. If I bring it to tab you could use it to talk about whatever the friends of the library are trying to do.

Riven (ravenismaven) | 63 comments I sent it to your email, and I'll bring a printed out version to TAB

Kayla (kaylawhata) | 55 comments Message from Shannon, who is getting the summer newsletter ready.

"We need four 200 to 250 word YA/Juv/NA/etc book reviews. You can send them to curtisse@ci.staunton.va.us. We need them by Wednesday the 3rd. "

Frances is writing one, so if three others want to write one, or if you want to submit two, email them to Shannon at the address above.

Riven (ravenismaven) | 63 comments My summer school starts this Monday but I will see if I can write 3 reviews. Do they want one from YA, one from Juv etc?

message 8: by Kayla, The overseeer (new)

Kayla (kaylawhata) | 55 comments I think it can be any sort of mix of genre. If you don't have time for three let me know, I may ask Shannon if it would be okay if I submitted one. Not sure if she wants TAB members only, or if mine could count since I'm the advisor. Thanks!

Riven (ravenismaven) | 63 comments If you could do one and I'll do the other two, that would be great. I'll still do a third review just in case you can't, but I don't know the amount of schoolwork I'm going to have this coming week and I might not have time to finish the third. I'm deciding to do a review on Dreamfire(my ARC copy, YA), probably a Redwall book(I have a bunch of copies, Juv), and I haven't decided what to do for the third yet.

Riven (ravenismaven) | 63 comments I sent in one review. Two to go...

message 11: by Frances, Co-Moderator (new)

Frances (frankie1199) | 28 comments I've got one started that's about 100 words so I'm going to finish and edit it. Then I'll send it in.

message 12: by Riven, Co-Moderator (new)

Riven (ravenismaven) | 63 comments I've got the same, then there is one more review to write after that and I'm done.

message 13: by Frances, Co-Moderator (new)

Frances (frankie1199) | 28 comments Are we going to need more, and if so when is the deadline?
