Suggestions for good HR books with a first-person narrator?

I was here thinking that I've read many contemporary novels but no historical novels written that way... do they exist? Good ones?

Hmm, good question! I've never come across that but then again, first person pov can irriate me a little! Lol! I hope someone can help you!
Interesting question and something I have wondered about before. Some very famous historical classics have first person narrators e.g. Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights. But it seems like it's not a thing in current HR writing. I often enjoy this style in CRs, and I would like to try a 'modern-written' HR in this style. Intrigued to see whether there are any suggestions.
I believe it might be difficult to write, but for me it would be quite a read, I like this style in CR too!I would love to read considering the pov of the time.
Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson is written in first person from the heroine's POV. Is that what you're asking for?? It's a clean romance though with maybe one or two kisses at the end.
