I am searching for a novel , it was a newyork best seller during the period 2000-2005. It had a white paperback cover. Its about a girl who ran into a forest , i cannot recall why she did so, but a group of men came into the forest and one guy stripped her and raped her and left her there. They then later met up ,she fell in love with him not knowinh he was the guy who raped her and her family came looking for her . Its a historical fiction. Can anyone help me with the title and author of this book ? Please ignore the book in the topic it not related.
