°The Rainy Day Book Club° discussion

I really enjoyed Lord of the Rings (rated all the books five stars ;) ) . My favorite characters have to be Frodo, Legolas, Pippin, Eowyn and Arwen.

Admittedly, I've never read the books! However, I thoroughly enjoyed the movies! I would love to read the books, the series is definitely on my tbr list.

I do love Legolas and Arwen as characters! Maybe I'll enjoy Frodo more after reading the books, rather than just basing my opinion of his character on the movies.

It's my all time favourite trilogy and I rated it 5 stars! There was not a single character that I didn't like reading about (even the "villans" 'cause they were so well written). My favourites though, were Sam, Aragorn (ansd his love story with Arwen, loved how her character was more explored in the movies) and Galadriel. Nothing possibly could be changed and the best part for me was the Battle of Helm’s Deep.

I’ve never read the books, but I’ve read the Hobbit. I also LOVE THE MOVIES!!!!!!
I love Legolas with my whole heart. Also one of my current iPad wallpapers is Gollum. 😏

Oh and I’m currently watching the Rings of Power!

I really enjoyed the amazing descriptions of the environment in the book.

My favourite character: "old Fatty Lumpkin" because he is an awesome and funny horse with an awesome and funny name.

My least favourite character: Denethor because he is really cringe and painful and annoying.

One thing I might want to change: I would like to have added more information on Rhûn, Khand, Harad and Umbar.

My favourite scene: the ride of the Rohirrim cavalry charge into The Battle of the Pelennor Fields outside Minas Tirith in Gondor.

I will rate this book: 5 stars.
