2017 Reading Challenge discussion

For this challenge I decided to interpret it literally as a classic example of the genre. I don't usually read romance novels and want to expand my usual reading with this challenge. I've never read a Danielle Steele book, but I used to shelve this one all the time when I worked in a bookstore. When I saw it on the library's Overdrive shelf, it seemed like a sign. It wasn't fantastic, wasn't terrible. I don't think this will ever be a favorite genre of mine, but I'm enjoying trying some new things through this challenge!
